how can you feel sad for someone like this? i didn't even know who he was until today. :lol: no one cares. no one on PMBD was thinking or fearing that divino was going to go pay one day and if it did then we would have a 25 page thread on how crappy it is. it's like carla niven and sugary sims had a kid and now he wants to annoy us.

I'd been to divino sims before this thread.  Also, someone once posted a thread here asking where the exploding head of hair was located.  People had seen his/her stuff before, but no one knew who made it.

I want to clarify, since I feel like I fueled the fire here, that I don't hate Divino, or the site, or the clothes.  I just got pissed that she/he was blatantly advertising DivinoSims.  And I wanted to defend Piratebooty to those of you who went "*gasp!*  TOO MEAN!  Don't be mean to free sites!"

I would have agreed, that freesite bashing is no good, if someone OTHER than Divino had posted the thread.

well, i understand what you're saying, dour but i disagree. if a site sucks then it sucks. constructive criticism is always best but no one should have to hold their tongue even if it is a freesite. creators should be told when something they make is awful. how can they ever learn?

I just think that freesite bashing maybe belongs on another forum?  I'm not shy, there are PLENTY of free sites that suck, but they arn't under the dilusion that that crappy stuff is worth paying for.  So they should be outside our reach in THIS forum.

ahhh okay! i get what you're saying. bashing freesites on PMBD would be counter-productive? well, i looked over divino's site and he has improved. i've never seen this hair explosion but i'm sure it can be improved as well.

I don't hate Divino Sims at all. In fact, I've used a mesh from that site to make a quite lovely dress, if I do say so myself. Not everything is to my taste (explody hair scares me), but it is by no means terrible.

I think explody hair was part of that ultra creepy couture thing that was so popular for awhile. Lots of scary runway makeup and hair, impossible clothes. Haute couture it may be, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
