I love blue. Just not as a font color.

You're preaching to choir on that one, we know it chapter and verse. Some of us are here because of that very reason. If EA said today that pay sites are ok and changed their EULA, you wouldn't see many of us here. I like blue, but won't use it on a forum because it can distract from what you are saying in the effort to focus on the different colour.

Yup - I think at one point I said jokingly if they side with paysites I'd sell my crap and give the good stuff away for free.

I think I read that wrong too. But still, I think it's possible to just get rid of Thomas, and the rest of his gang.

Technically, yes, if you have the money to hire an army of lawyers and the time to force EA to follow their own EULA...
It's just not going to happen that way. Trust me. We've been at this for a while now.

You don't need a lawyer, but you can send documented letters at least to EA, and the website owner(s) and see if they consider changing their tune. Or was that tried already?

We've tried and they still sit there with the fence post up their hind ends. They just don't want to take a stand on it.

I'm guessing you've not read the FAQ yet - strongly recommended.

Okay, I'm sorry again. I have some bad habits. This was the only time that I had not read the FAQ before I posted.

Right now all we can do it wait for TSR to kill itself from the inside out (which they are doing quite well right now), and for The Sims 3 to come out to see if EA has changed their tune on paysites.

I would not trust them with a fox, I would not trust them with a fox, I would not trust them here or there, I would not trust them anywhere. I do not like that mental scar, I would not trust that TSR...

Who knows, EA could say they're fine with paysites. It wouldn't surprise me.

For some reason, I just can't see EA taking anyone's side. Picking one side means blowing off the other side, and for EA that means losing business. If they side with paysites, they'll lose the business of most of the free community, which is quite vast. However, if they condemn paysites, then they would lose their business and be out of cheap and easy advertisement. As long as they stay money hungry, they'll probably just stay neutral, even if their EULA is being violated.
