ZOMG, Nymphy's still on that roll! She's got much better default replacements for a bunch of things. I haven't made it through everything yet, but I think this one is my favorite. 84724333673 cheers for Nymphy!

Edit! Just a heads up, you may want to compressorize those files, though. I downloaded them all, compressorized, and saved 26 MB. That's a tad big! Reduced them to 6, though, so that's not bad at all.

I love the replacement for the Nightlife outfit, it's so much cuter. And I like the other one that makes the dress more decent looking instead of showing half the Sim's chest.

Regina at BogSims Institute made European type street replacements. It comes in four parts, sidewalk, sidewalk corner, street lines, and the street. They can be used as a group or separately depending on your preferences.  I like the darker street color and the grey sidewalks, so I'm going to get them, but keep the yellow lines since that is what I am used to being in the US.

ETA: Here is a pic of what it looks like if you do what I did, take just the sidewalk, sidewalk corner, and the street but not the lines. I really like how it looks, it looks more like a street here than without these replacements. They do now show up when you are in map view, but that isn't a big thing, its not like you will be spending huge amounts of time in map view.

Well I have dabbled in "nouking" my fair share of sims 2 hairs for some time now. Nothing broke my heart more when it didn't appear to be so easy in sims 3 to "retexture" hair files. Well Ja, over at GOS has replaced those terribad EA hair textures with pooklet's edits of vintage d edit's of nouk's textures! All men hair here.All child hair here. Hopefully Ja will write an in depth tut as well so we can get some different textures in as well.

I loved that nouk hair, and it looks really good in Sims 3. And the file size is a hell of a lot smaller than the store and peggy's. I really can't wait to see more hairs come out.

Me neither- Hystericalparoxysm, Nouk and Augustin's hairs are most of the one's I use in game - so if HP is converting her and nouks hairs and Augistin converts some of his old ones or makes new ones for TS3 I will be good to go - I can't wait for more curly hair it is really what is lacking in base game - and a default 40's one

I'm so happy to see so many wonderful things. I love these hairs! Unfortunately for me, I won't be able to play Sims till september ( not at home, too old notebook with me ) But! seeing all this stuff makes my waiting worth every minute spent without the game. It seems I'll became downloading demon quite soon

Cherub hair is also for both genders. I'm really happy, HP stated that she'll convert all Nouk's hairs, that's extremely good news!

I've tested not yet those new creations, but the ones uploaded on MTS works just fine and empowers my badass sims.

They have some really nice denim textures over there on All About Style too. I had to restrain my self, I'm racking up way too much CC and we don't even have new meshes yet.

I grabbed the jeans - all the shoes- and the shirts over there- I am trying to avoid patterns unless something really good comes out otherwise it could quickly grow to the number of recolors I have in my TS2 downloads folder- lately it has been mostly clothing - though I wish someone would come out with some kids stuff other than t-shirts- my kiddles and guys are sadly neglected in comparison to my adult female sims.
