Your Prettiest Freesite Creation Find: Round Two (Apparently)

Margierytka's "The Farm of Frantic Staszek" is one of my all time favorite lots.  It is charming, beautiful, authentic, and the pictures really showcase different parts of the lot.  You may have seen it at MTS2, but I'm providing a link to the Sims2Design page because it has more pictures.  I searched for "Margierytka" and "Staszek", nothing came up, so I hope this hasn't already been mentioned.

I like what Margierytka did with the couches in the 3rd picture, overlapping two of them like that.  If you look at some of her other lots on MTS2, she does similar things with three tables joined at 120deg angles, nice effect.

Another lot builder who over laps furniture alot is Christine from CC4 sims ( or you can find her lots on mts2, exchange) . She uses most maxis content only  so see gets creative with furniture placement.

This is of questionable placement...
While I was scavenging like the clutter-bug that I am... I managed to find some pretty orgasmic meshing jobs.
The meshes I am showcasing here are, by definition, FREE. And very pretty I might add... However, the rest of the site is pay... and no matter how much they try to hide it, their shoe meshes can't make up for the shit they call outfits, above the ankles.

So, in accordance with the guidelines, I suppose you could call them 'free' ... they are free by all means, but the rest of the site (utter crap) should walk the plank...

It's like they're just ASKING to be textured and turned into shoe clutter!
And the site has a free to learn tutorial on how to add the meshes to your outfits... but again, it didn't really work for them, because if you look at some of the crap they put in their pay section.. no matter how many nice shoes they have... it ain't gonna happen.

Admittedly, I am expecting to be thrown in the plank for praising a creator that charges for most of if not all of their horrible work, but I couldn't pass it up...

I vote for the truly free shoes. I'm sorry, but the other one's just don't cut it for me. Not only are they from a paysite, I don't see how texture could make them better, I really don't. They just look too clunky and slightly cartoonish to me.

Yeah, I get that. I still think that no texture is going to improve them to the point that I would want them cluttering up my simmies houses.

The free shoes started with a Maxis mesh if I'm not mistaken. Since I've never seen any Maxis shoes as clutter (but I don't have all the ep's and stuff packs, so maybe there are), that leads me to think that the Maxis ones are clothing.

Those shoes and boots make me wish that we could choose the footwear that we put on our sims. I mean, you can do it in the console games of Sims 2, so why in the hell aren't we allowed to do that in the computer game?

We can, sort of, if we make the shoes as accessories and dress sims in barefoot mesh clothing.  There just aren't that many accessory shoes out there.

Uhm... did it ever occur to you that maybe you could of... oh, I dunno, ASK us if they knew of great shoes?  Instead of playing some dumb game like this and putting items from a paysite in this thread?
