Just a little more information for anyone that doesn't know it. Noidog and Sanctum are married. Wittyone (aka The Great Oz) is an internet friend of Sanctum.

Noidog told me a long time ago that she has a problem getting along with people. I didn't understand it back then. Now, I completely understand it.

seems when you get married the problem is contagious to your partner.  I don't know how you guys keep going.  Can't imagine how many lumps you get banging your head off desks.  I can understand some one setting up a paysite, when I installed The sims I didn't read the EULA just went to the bottom and ticked accept.  But once they know about it they have no excuse even forgetting the moral part of it.  But then you get a freesite that fully understands does the we will always be free bit then goes pay. how can they justify that in their own heads never mind to any one else.  For them there is no luxury of pleading ignorance.  No one can go to them and say look this is how it stands and what your doing isn't right. They know 100% it isn't right, they just don't care.  Then to go on to try and drag a free site down on the way just for the sheer hell of it. That more than sucks.  Gonna put them on my twatty Christmas card list.

Most people do that. But when one is planning to sell stuff, one should double-check if the stuff one is selling isn't copyrighted or otherwise unsellable due to legal stuff. I think it would be natural to check. And it's stupid to sell things made with free tools made by the community.

I know it was a bad example, but a lot of them plead ignorance. Sometimes a word from a pirate is all it takes to change their mind. I tried to get an example of a paysite doing it from the beginning rather than free creator knowing it is wrong then going ahead  anyway.  I can't really understand paysites  so my reasoning on trying to understand usually goes wonky at the word go.

I've always thought the same thing about that issue,Tsarina.  Unfortunately, common sense is not everyone's forté.  Even if they do read it twice, they'll probably keep at it anyways and think they'll slip under the radar.
