TSR Sharing your infomation!

That guy is a total fucking idiot, I've heard all about him and some other chick that I'm not going to mention (think Freddy *coughAussieKoalacough*) from reading the PRISM, which is the forum end of Reclaim Your Game. They are idiots and EA apologists and well think that the sun shines out of the company's ass. PRISM You can go there and vent all about what this shit has done to your computer, learn how to deal with it, and get a good giggle out of the humour section.

sorry to derail the topic a bit.  I have a rant/ question about the TSR. I understand their FA's and some Sa stuff is pay but what I do not get is the random subscriber download from some other no name creator.  I have to admit I was at the TSR ( hangs head) I was searching  for community lots. I cam across a few lots that were pay from creators who were not FA/SA and when I visited the mini sites it was the only creation by that person that was pay. I do not get it? Why make some random lot pay only? The greed never stops amazing me. It was a waste of time anyways, I found nothing worth it.

Some lots are pay because they use FA stuff in it (like furniture,build objects...). The fact is that a few months earlier, and after some complaints, TSR decided to set free all the lots that were made by SA/submitters, even if there was FA content in it. They only pay lots available were supposed to be the ones made by featured artists.

BUT they didn't do it for every lots, like they promised to do. They "forgot" to set free some lots.
Which means that you can find pay lots that aren't made by FAs, and still, you have to be a subscriber to download them.

Once again that's pure greed. They don't even respect their own rules.

Yup,  my only pay file was a lot I built that had some FA stuff in it that I recolored.  It was weird seeing a subscriber file on my minisite.

I'm actually shocked they freed the SA/Reg creator houses that had FA content.  Because think about it, it's a great way to get free FA content.  "My house has 80 different windows, all made by Windkeeper.  I have a lot of Urban decay in the back yard, all made by Cyclone Sue, and so on and so forth."

You could put a different wall on each section to cover a lot of wall paper, you could fill the house with pay items, etc.  And if you're a regular or SA artist, you can give away all that stuff right under their noses.

 Ok I see now, because I have downloaded lots before with FA stuff in it. Some did not show anyways. I like building homes but not community lots and good community lots seem hard to come by lately.

Funny thing about the site is when I went to see it, I tried to go to other sections of it, and firefox is telling me that the security certificate is not a valid one for the site, it is from another one. And the only way I can look at anything else on the site is to add an encryption, and I can hear firefox telling me to get the hell from that site.

Pescado I just saw your post on the BBS about it. And I agree with you on it. There is going to be ModtheSims, so why is anyone going to need to go there. That and they are a phishing site.

You know I'm starting to think there is a small chance that Drea is on our side now. I mean, can you really be that stupid to ban a site, but mention it flat out so that everyone and their brother can see it? If she really wanted to stop people from seeing these sites, she should have just said any sites that discusses if paysites are legal or not. Because then most people would know what she is talking about, and she would not be giving the free advertising. Or I could be absolutely wrong and she really is that fucking stupid.

After some thought, it occurs to me that EAxoids may simply not care about whether or not the site is advertised, they simply don't want to deal with the inevitable shitfight which occurs when the site is mentioned.

It can make someone want to rip their hair out! She's just a kid. She has no clue what the heck she's doing. I didn't see what she posted (she edited it out), but I'm assuming she made her OWN MTS3??? If that is the case, it's funny that she decided to capitalize on that and get a shred of popularity and had no idea that maybe she should put a little thought into it first.

You know Pescado, that is probaly right. They don't care if we go here, or are involved in file sharing, just as long as they don't have to deal with it.

And my favorite part of that thread was after Pescado said it was a phishing site and someone said that you should give them different information when you sign up, that way they can't steal any of your info.
