I think all the furniture I have seen looks like Sims 1 stuff. Are they going backwards with items in order to make even more cartoony looking sims?

I know what the problem is - its not that its gone backwards, but that, with supposed improved realism, the objects haven't changed at all, except for how they are textured. So, compared with the better animation and the improved landscaping and lighting, the meshes haven't -changed- at all.

Well, the game's story is set before The Sims 1. What I think they should have done was that stick figure version one of the guys that worked on The Sims 2 was kidding about in the preview disk that came with Makin' Magic. I think his last name was London. |

I looked at the stuff DOT made for sims 3 and thought, how in hell is she considered a "great" sims "artist". I seen better from other pay sites (it's really a sad comparison when put up to MTS2 stuff). Then I looked at the other "artist" they had and everything fell into place.
(if you haven't checked out Rumnate's link it really is a good laugh)
