look at what we have here...some TSR has-been's & Sims community wash-ups & outcasts all in one cozy forum being really productive and scrutinizing other people's work - how fucking sweet. I find it funny that all you can do is complain about other people. How is it your business if people pay for something or not, If I want to pay for something that's my prerogative not yours. So, put your money where your mouth is and create something. I would love to criticize you.

 That lamp is laughable for sure. Personally I expect if someone is going to be a paid artist on any site they should have more talent than that! All she does is lamps so you think that they  would be omg awesome, but they are not. They are all plain and boring. Even if I was crazy enough to ever pay  the tsr I would never even look at Dot's page. You only need so many lamps in your game unless it is something unique and special.

I only ever use CC lamps that were created as part of a room set. I tend to just use the cheap IKEA ceiling and table lamps. I very rarely use floor lamps. I wouldn't ever download a set of lamps that would not go with anything else I had in the room. I especially wouldn't download DOT's lamps because they are made of poo.

I tend to make my witch sims make lamps, because I think they look spiffy.  Otherwise, even with the smart radience system making everything very dark, I -still- tend to forget lights, unless making a plant sim.

What i don't understand is why the hell is she so obsessed by lamps? Does she live in a dark cellar? Considering that her lamps AND room sets are only bunch of cubes with a crappy texture,i wouldn't be surprised.
