Did you notice that they always pick the less downloaded creators as FA? I'll never understand that. Logically, you've got to choose someone who has so many downloaders that you know people will pay if the creator becomes FA.
But hey,i'm not complaining, some of my favorite people there are still free, but if i wish they could leave that rotten place.
And when are they going to set Windkeeper's creations free? Come on, after more than a year, everyone knows that she is not coming back. This is pure greed!
TSR is known for luring people over there and telling them, "Just post a couple things, we'll make you an SA, then we'll rush you right into FA'dom. When Paleoanth and I were there, we confronted Thomass on that, telling him we didn't give a damn if he wanted to bring people over to be FA's, but we were pissed that he'd make them SA's first, then give them allll the SA perks, like spaces in the front, spotlights, etc. But, if someone comes over to the site and has some talent, or had a paysite? You can be pretty sure they'll be FA real soon.
Windkeeper? I doubt they'll ever make her stuff free. She still is a huge draw for TSR. I admit that when I got the new computer, I cashed in an incentive day and downloaded a lot of her windows.
I'd love to know if she's still being paid for her stuff. If it were me and I was no longer being paid, I'd be pissed. But, it wouldn't surprise me if she is being paid still. Different FA's make different rates and it's been more than whispered that Windkeeper was one of the better, if not best paid of the FA's.
She and Cyclone are the ones with the biggest talent. And, I don't know if this is connected, but they are also two creators that were always pretty nice to me, unlike some of the other FA's.
