The Christian Bale sim is pretty bad.

But to my knowledge, that's the only Aaron Eckhart sim so far. Therefore, do want. If there is another one that's free, someone let me know.

Though some of this thread is quite amusing, I think you guys are a little harsh in some aspects. I've seen a few things in these threads that I actually would download.

Why are people here that harsh when it comes to pay files?

The problem is -even if you leave the pay-items-not-being-allowed-by-EA's-EULA-issue aside- that there's no guarantee on these items.
Most of the pictures are nicely photoshopped in the preview, and the models' positions would hardly ever show a flaw.
You like it. You pay for it, and put it in your downloads folder.
In game, of course, it looks like shit: Gappy, unanimated hair, meshes that poke through everything, blurry textures, you name it.
About now you start to notice that you've been ripped off, maybe you attempt to contact the creator.
With a lot of luck you might even get a reply, but your money's gone.

me too, but everyone has their opinions these things are showcased so that people who agree can point and laugh.

eg: 'packages' on little girls undies. pointed, laughed then turned nightmare.

Alright, I see your point there. I don't have much pay stuff in my game, so I guess I don't have much experience with crappy quality. I just see the pictures posted here and some look nice. But as you said, they can be photoshopped a ton. I know whenever I take pictures of myself I photoshop them at least a little, so I guess it's the same type of thing.

I think there's a far more logical reason than the one Mareada states - this is called "Paysites must be destroyed" - not paysites must be praised or we like paysites.  You want nice, go to the paysite and paysite sympathisers - here, we hate paysites.

Just go and download a few things, a few peggy hairs [ the ones that look halfway decent in a picture ], or eve something from TSR - make sure you put it in a folder you can find easily, and then look at it in-game.

No, close game, remove it and you'll understand.

I'm a whore for the booty, esp. a hair whore - but I always find that items from free sites are my favorites in the game.  There's something to be said for people creating for the love of the game and the art involved - not cold, hard cash.

I have a lot of pay and free hair in my game and I do have favourites in both categories.
I have so much pay hair mostly because I can't find good free ones I've seen in a picture (I know I'm not really good at searching  ) and - sad to say - it's so damn easy to find the paysites because they are advertising themselves so much and are very well known. I've often wondered why, but when I first started to look for custom content I found like a dozen links to peggy and almost none to good free sites. But that was way back in .. 2005 I think.

ok, this is UGLIEST PAYSITE CREATION, not "i lik da pay hairzz"  Nouk, XM Sims, Helga, and so many, more people make great quality free hair. It isn't hard to find them.
