Anime hair can be done quite well, as creators like Myos prove. That hair has no structure. It'd maybe look decent if there was some depth and volume in the back, but it looks so flat, like there's no skull underneath, (or an oddly shaped skull) and no height behind the immediate hairline. That concerns me.  It could very well be bald behind the hairline. Like some sort of... front-mo-hawk. Are there any shots of the rest of the head?

In agreement about the skin. Photoskinning can look good as long as it's not all photoskinned. Some artistic sense and a very light, deft touch can do wonders. Bruno and Adele use some photoskin-esque elements, without truly photoskinning, imho. The best know how to alter, tweak and paint over what's the base until it suits the purpose.

The wee bit o' Scot in me cried a little. On first glance it is ok, but look at the lack of depth. No shading, no work really except slaping a plaid texture on a basic mesh. They want money for this... wtf?
