paperbeth Ooh, mass of flowers in front of the window!  I want that in real life.  Must get giant bay window first.  And a house.  Or upload myself into the house you're building.

I will, don't think I won't!  I just need to find a big enough USB port for me to fit in.  That, or lose about 130 pounds to fit into my existing one.  Hrm, I might also need an analog to digital human converter.

Here it the latest house- I am not planning to upload this lot as it has far to much CC to be manageable - Most of the CCt is free stuff- but there is some pay in there though not much that isn't also available on a free site - and I got most of the pay stuff from the Booty. Also I know some tea drinkers will ask  about  the Teaset its a working Teaset from AngelGold and is available over at the SimsCave in the Unavailable sub- thread in the Sharing Section. This is kind of a dream house that one of my sim families in my current prosperity challenge may own somewhere around Generation 5. I am not done yet- I still have the attic living room, landscaping, Garage building , and two teen/child rooms to furnish and decorate and will add pics to the slide show and modify this post when I have them- Suggestions are welcome.
Click on the thumb to see the slideshow Grin

After this the plans are to begin working on some starter and small family  houses based on historical modular home plans from Sears, Radford, and Montgomery Ward Similar to my American Foursquare available at Wella Creations which will be available for upload with no CC and in unfurnished versions.

Wow, that is bloody brilliant Axel.
I love the colors you have used on it, it has a sort of, I don't know what it is about it, but whatever it is, it is fantastic.
I can spy a bit of a pondy garden round the back, do you have any pictures of that so I can take a nosey?

I love them - your house looks great by the way- I like the waterfall on the roof. It is neat. You seem to have gotten a little farther in landscaping on yours- I am still tweaking and finishing the inside rooms.

It took me the longest time to figure out how to fit it all together though - Now I am just waiting for Fway, Marylou, TBudgett, or Leester to come out with a M&G add on pack for the Deco, Moroccan and Empire builds cause the only ones I have seen are the rather crappy ones done by Shakeshaft the thief, and some random sub over at TSR and I though I d/l'd those before the Buggybooz theft broke now it is DO NOT WANT Mehh!

Sorry dstar, I completey spazzed out and missed your house there.

I had a look at your slideshow, and I'm also loving what I have seen there. I love the color scheme, you have varied it, yet kept it the same, if sense can be made from that, then congratulations  Cheesy.
I won't comment on the landscaping because you said that you are still working on it.

Yes- it is a constant work in progress- I am trying to stick with historical accuracy in terms of furniture and decor in some ways - I am going for the old cluttered house of a wealthy family that has been in the family for 10 generations look- the landscaping will probably reflect that as well - though I will try not to overdo it- I did with my Botanical park a few pages back and there is something there that is bottoming out my sims environment score that I can't find.

I never saw your other one, I've been AWOL for a while, after my old pc went really wierd with me, I stopped playing the game because it took far too long to load. I now have a beast of a PC and so I've been messing round with it all and loving it, and I'm starting to read the latest happenings on here and the new goodies on MTS2.

You do what I do when I'm building things, I give it a bit of a backstory in my head so I have a penciled canvas to work with. It keeps it interesting I think.

With me it really depends on the lot and whether I am building for myself or for upload. I already have backstories for the lots I build for my custom hoods like my current Prosperity Challenge hood- when I build for uploading - I tend not to do that- lately i have actually begun to work my way through a site on Historic House Plans like the modular homes released by various companies between 1900 and 1970 or famous buildings.

Sorry I missed this, just got back from a couple of days away Smiley
Thanks so much for the compliments  Cheesy That house was just a little side project for me when I got bored.

The little pond at the back was actually my favourite part of the house:

And the fountain on the roof Tongue

The entrance:

As for the interior.... Hallelulia to OMSPs Smiley
