I don't really texture, but I would say use a maxis texture as a base, make the texture fit the hair better. And then maybe add a touch of highlight. The hair is a little too yellow for me as well. If you're going to do "red" I'd suggest not making the red look like fruit punch, maybe a darker maxis red would do the trick.

Thank you very much for the tips And does this look like a fruity color? It's not the only red color I have planned (there's a orange-ish one and a pink color for a punk style), but it is the 'main' red, which means it'd be pretty bad if I've screwed it up

A bit more orange, and a little less red would do. It'll come along nicely then.

Someone should check some free sites like MTS 2 for them or learn to make them on their own because that really sounded like a request and those normally get shoved down the asker's throat if they whine about it.

That's better. It will be great to match with my maxis red heads. Although, I do have to agree, auburn would be another great choice. A Little less firey, but still beautiful. I can't wait to see the preview pictures.
