TSR IS A SUCK-ASS SUCKY WEBSITE

People have gotten a virus going to TSR before.
It most likely WAS that site.
It's been like that forever. Everythime I have gone there either my Norton or my spyware program pops up with warnings etc...

I had never occured viruses or any kind when visiting TSR, and when I went to her minisite I got a spyware thing called Malware or something like that, that's all I remember. I was interested to see if she is THAT hated that someone would poison her minisite and I wonder if she knows about it. I have had other technical problems with TSR... mainly the logging in. Which makes sense because that whole site is rigged for the benefit of a priviledged few. Yuck!

Did you notice what our favourite male twat Teko did? He removed most of his free sets from Reflex sims. Those had been free for ages!  :x

He has lost all respect I ever had for him. He's like a cross between bella and birgit, he demands both buttkissing and money.

Well, if he has pulled his files form Reflexsims, then if they should go into the booty, or over to the Graveyard, or if anyone wants them, I have a bunch of the formerly free files, and will gladly share them.

It is one of my favourite sets. I accidentally deleted the bookcase and wanted to get it back, so that's why I went to the site, only to notice they were all gone.

It's all right. I requested it at SFV, just in case. It will turn up sooner or later.

Besides, Teko will post it on TSR for sure, there is no other reason for him to remove it from Reflex sims.

Sorry i was never a fan of teko, he was getting paid to mesh on the donation sets, etc over at Reflex. I have a lot of their sets what do you need?

You have a whole forum full of said information at your fingertips right here. Search is your friend. You may want to get a snack and something to drink because there's a whole lot of reading ahead. Welcome Mallow.  This war, about pixels and monies, didn't just appear out of nowhere.  It's actually rather ongoing since the first pay sites in the Sims 1 days.  

The beginnings of the "great discussion of pay versus free" was decidedly more pay favored but filesharing privately has consistently been around.  It was pretty much all underground until Pescado decided he liked making the paysite owners "butt hurt" through the booty and the bigger free sites decided they would allow PMBD to be talked about and linked to.  

If all you do is download and leave a thanks, it doesn't surprise me you weren't aware of all this.  Again, welcome!  Read the FAQ and you should be alright here.

I'm wondering why they've not yet tried to sue the booteh to make a cashcow from the fact that something's actually being done about their hypocritical, bugger-faced ways. O_O

Some have sent threatening mail. Why haven't they sued? Because they don't have a leg to stand on. They don't own what they are selling. They can't. It's deritative, and it's outlined in the EULA that they don't have the right to sell it.

Anyways, I bothered to click on Lorelei's blog link the other night and she's got a lovely point-by-point rebuttal of what all paysite owners have tried to argue in the past:
