They probably figure they have more of a chance of getting a donation for her shit if they don't show a picture.

Confession time... I've been a member of their forum for years and I even broke down once and subbed (before I found the delicious booty that is). For the past year or so I've become more and more disgusted at their idea of "discussions" and the way they jump on you if you raise a dissenting opinion. You can't have a proper discussion if everyone agrees! Their little "paysite discussion" is basically a three-page circle-jerk, and I've never had a real opinion of MsBarrows but lemme tell you, I do now. What a smart-ass know-it-all.

When I just started out playing the sims 2, I discovered TSR, and I was amazed by the wonderful content. I really wanted a subscription...but even when I was young and naiive, I thought charging for pixels was ridiculous. Then the booty came, I downloaded a bunch of stuff I'd wanted for forever. When I loaded up the game, I was disgusted.
TSR is going to be the last paysite to go down...but hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later.

TSR is going to be the last paysite to go down...but hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later. I second that. We really need to try raise awareness. I'm sorry, but when you're first going out for custom content, you go to tsr. EA links to them on their site, it's the first thing you get when you Google "sims 2 custom content." A lot of people don't know their options. I mean, tsr and Peggy were the first places I got my custom content.

People who are new to the game definitely need to know that there are much better sites out there. Those were some of my first places for CC too before I came across sites that had better content. When you're starting out looking for CC, and don't always know better, those are usually the first sites to come across. I was fortunate enough though to have discovered MTS2, which is one of my favourite CC sites, fairly early on also though.

Same for me. TSR was one of my first, and then I quickly found MTS2. For one area of my life, I'm lucky that I can't afford to pay for silly pixels.

I went to read that thread in TSR and find it very interesting. Specially the usual rant about respect. I would like to know from nikita489, the one that posted I think being part of a community is the issue of respect. When someone creates something, whether free or pay, you should respect their conditions. what does s/he think about TSR hosting a recolor by nikisatez05 ( http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/sims2/SetID_528267/) of a mesh by Nouk and linking to the MTS2 page where Nouk clearly states: * Do not upload my mesh or recolors to a paysite. Only paypeople deserve "respect of their conditions"? TSR minions make me sick.

Only paypeople deserve "respect of their conditions"? TSR minions make me sick. The obvious conclusion is that Nouk's wishes do not need to be respected because she is soulless and has no morals, since she is anti-paysite.
