TSR really does suck ass...I remember I looked for stuff there a while ago, and everything there was awful.  Fifty thousand recolors of the same crappy top, and it's so hard to find anything good there because they put so much sub-par shit up.  It's sorta like the exchange, but more evil.
I was upset to see that Sims2Sisters went to TSR, because I liked a couple of their hairstyles.

TSR takes quantity over quality any day. That much is apparent with the craptastic patterns and rainbow colors blinding visitors monitors with every update. It'll never change so long as morons continue downloading the sets  and subscribing to that hellhole.

I always wonder why the Asswa stuff has sand coloured everything - that is soooo boring.  Tutankhamun's mask isn't goddamned sand coloured - they liked their lapis lazuli, their gold, all those yummy colours - where the hell are they?  And not just lime green african knockoffs.

Yeah, but that's STILL lime green African knockoffs - not the deep rich and often garish colours used by the Egyptians.  She has so many damn things in lime green (which is my least favourite colour) - when does one see any photos of ancient Egyptian lime green?

Those sorts of colours are currently used in other African countries for dresses etc. - very popular colour there - but not in Egypt, even today.

You don't.  But you have people, like her, that see something... be it a culture, a style, whatever... and think, "Wow, this is fantastic.  But... if only they weren't so fond of [insert something here].  Well, I can still enjoy this if I make a few minor changes.

I recall reading an HP fanfic where Hermione was a descendant of Slytherin, and a vampire, and the second she was resorted into Slytherin, changed the house colours (I think to blue and black).  I remember thinking, WTF!?

I don't know anything about lime green being particular of any culture, but I know Anita's an idiot, so I'll leave it at that.

As for HP fics, some AU can be very well done. However, stories that completely disregard JK's writing and don't call themselves AU get on my nerves.
Also, I never read any fanfic about the "Golden Trio", AU or not. I prefer reading stuff about characters you don't spend the entire time going, "You're out of character!", "You'd NEVER say that in the books!", "Wait a minute! That didn't happen!", "You're a BOY in the books!" and my personal favourite, "Er, WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU IN THIS STORY?!"
For example, Harry gets a new girlfriend who is out of a cartoon show. Don't laugh, it happens.
It's like the complete opposite of that Josie in the Pussycats movie quote: "Why are you here?" "I'm here because I was in the comic book."

Nit wit and Ethiopian style don't go well together. I actually like that color. It doesn't seem too very bright and might look well in a room with pale yellow and green things.
