BBcupAssboy is still a mod there? Anyway, another mod, Cathy, seems to be pro-PMBD. The one freaking out prolly did on their own initiative, but as Insim is all nauseatingly fluffy-sugary-nice, link removal because it offended some idiot's delicate sensibilities wouldn't surprise me.

Will somebody clear something up for me? I always thought that InSim and InSimAdult were PMBD friendly. I was lurking around the other day (trying out my account) when came upon a thread were someone was asking for some payshit (I think it was some sexysims animations). Someone harmlessly linked to the booty, and someone else freaked out and asked them to remove the link. So, are we against their policy? What is going on that I'm missing?

BTW: I just got done writing a long-ass paper, so if my wording/spelling is off, be gentle.

I don't think the owners ever had a problem with PMDB, as Kathy and many other Insim members post/ed here quite frequently.  I think they discourage booty talk to avoid complaints and attacks from paysite owners.  They didn't allow linkage to here even before BBB became an FA.  Someone with more insight than I please fill in the blanks.

Well, Beosboxboy has been cencoring the place since Kathy and Eric left him in charge. I've had comments removed myself. He says it's to avoid friction and it's completely comforming site rules.I've left as a creator a few weeks ago, I think he's absolutely abusing his power to support his own pro paysite agenda, and I don't feel welcome anymore, so no reason to stay. It's kind of obvious, when you delete everything pro- PMBD or even anti-paysite. Comments like "I don't think it's neccecary to ask for money after you've just opnened your site." are being deleted, the reason: you are spamming. He adressed my pm about it with a giant guilt trip (It's because of people like YOU that I'm sick of this community, etc etc, the usual) , and any pm I sent after that was completely ignored, even the one about child porn being posted.
He's very unprofessional and will not deal with things without getting insanely pissed off.

I'm starting to think that leaving BBB in charge was one of the stupidest ideas Kathy and Eric have made. And what is with everyone loving him? I personally think his meshing sucks, and without his right-wing Marvine, his meshes would be worse.

Well it was taken care of, but it took quite long. Others had reported it hours before me. I also told him I heard from a friend that Insim could be endangered because of such posts not being reacted to quickly enough, an answer would have been nice. It just shows that he can't keep his personal issue with me seperate from his job. he put me on ignore for his own convenience.

Well, I've told him I'm sorry for causing him distress or annoyance and I've put it behind me. Kathy and Eric chose him as a mod, and if I don't trust him, I should just GTFO, wich I did. Problem for me is solved.

Gah, that sounds just about par for the course. What a jackass. I've never been an active poster at Insim but I've always gone and checked out the stuff, even if I didn't pay that much attention to the posts. I never really knew there was a censorship issue over there until fairly recently, when I started paying more attention to the conversation, and I was surprised to see that BBB joined the FA's until I started catching on to some of his behavior.

I never got the impression that he was a real douche until after he became an FA, and I started to be a little more alert. It seems like I just wasn't paying enough attention. That's a real shame, because I like some of his work, although I never thought most of it was anything particularly special. I have to agree that Marvine is the real talent behind a lot of it.

I think the fact that I haven't even gone to Insim in recent months, with the exception of the occasional brief visit, really says something about the course of things over there. I'm glad to hear that you left, Nouk, because that kind of tyrannical behavior (with a bad attitude to boot) doesn't deserve creators of your caliber. There are plenty of places where your talent will be appreciated and people won't act like asshats. Well...some people will always act like asshats, but you know what I mean.

Speaking of Kathy and Eric, where are they? Insimenator is not updated for FT - and with that mod and Squinge's mods gone, Insim is just another generic download forum. Oh, and I don't know if it's that insipid attention whore's aka BBB fault by driving out creators like he did with Nouk, but their recent downloads are total shit - either grotesque bodyshapes or Sims with names like  Lord S'soy'ledd Catt'lytter looking like they've been cloned from the same botox vat.

Something must be his fault anyway. He's tawdry like that.

Kathy and Eric are probably tied up in real life, last thing I heard was that their son went off to Irak. I honestly don't think they give a crap about anything Sims 2, and I don't blame them.

A little birdie told me that Sim Naturals forum could possibly be a place that the non-PG-13 TSR crap would be admitted for discussion. Anyone with the energy to attempt to make this known could check out that place and leave a note. No gaurantee's, tho.

Well, as has been said most of InSim is not exactly pirate friendly at the moment, but I participate in the contest forum which is moderated by Kielen and brendabond, and while there aren't necessarily links to the booty, there's rampant mention of it...and never any naysayers. And if anyone asks what the booty is, PMs are immediately sent out. And it seems like BBB doesn't even monitor that section. So at least one section allows the booty to be mentioned. However, since it's exclusively a contest section, I'm sure they wouldn't allow a link to anything that's been mentioned in this thread.
