Adblock is your friend. Really. I'm not going to take sides on the "Is it right to have Hitler in an icon or isn't it?" But I have found in any situation where a picture offends me, adblock is the best defense. I block it, and then I don't have to deal with it. At least a picture can be blocked.

A friend of mine sent it to me and we thought it was funny, and we honestly didn't think of those who might actually find this offensive or insulting. It's gone now, I hope you don't think I meant to hurt anyone. I wasn't thinking.  |

The fact that you so nicely removed what others found offensive makes you alright in my book! No worries, it is easy to make mistakes when posting in a new phorum (esp one like this lol) but keeping your cool & being open to suggestions (and having a tough hide  ) will carry you far. The blinkies didn't bother me too much, but then I'm a mod at SapphireSims2 & we have more blinkies than Peggy even  & the sigs over there...OMG! Still, the site is nice with some really sweet people. THIS site, while not what one might always call 'nice', really does have some wonderful members. |

Haha, thanks for accepting my apology. :] I'm glad you guys actually pointed it out to me in a nice way, without bashing me about it. (At GOS, I'd probably have gotten a lecture and a half.) At SapphireSims2, the blinkies are pretty, but I can definitely see where you guys stand with the whole flashing thing. This site is definitely welcoming, though! (Plus, it's scandalous. Which is always great!) But! I leave you with a wonderfully sexy gem of a woman.  |

I don't browse this forum in Firefox - I use IE. So when it flashes at me, I can't do anything other than wish death on people. I'm still trying to transition to Firefox, but I like my ruts, and I can't get myself out of the rut of using IE for this forum. Haha, thanks for accepting my apology. :] I'm glad you guys actually pointed it out to me in a nice way, without bashing me about it. I don't see there's much need for apology - you liked it, and so you chose it - you didn't actually intend to annoy anyone. I just want to read the posts, and I presume that you want other people to read them too - and flashy things make people not read. |
