What Riverwillows did was say some things, in confidence with other members of the Yahoo Group, and someone within the Yahoo Group repeated it outside of the group.  What was said is irrelevant.  The problem was that someone shared what was said, when all members had agreed that things said there were to be kept strictly between the members.  Thus, those not actively participating in the group discussions were removed from the member list.  The removals had nothing to do with Atwa - the removals were of people not active in the group since the summer.

Hi. I decided to come out of the my little corner of lurking in the hold of the ship, and say hi. First of all, I wish to state for the sole benefit of those at TSR who believe otherwise, I am NOT a pirate.  I don't plan to be a regular contributor, tho I do find this site and it's info intriguing.

I do believe, however, that everyone has a right to their opnion. Your site has a right to exist and what you do, is not for me or anyone else to judge. If  people don't approve of what you do, then they should stay away. The internet is a free place. If you don't like certain parts of it, then stay away from them. It's not like you are advocating violence or actual harm to anyone. To quote Voltaire: “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it”. To that effect, TSR also has a right to exist and do what they do. It's all up to Karma in the end, really.

Now, that said, I wish to say that RedHeadRose hit it on the nose. The "Riverwillows Fiasco", as you call it (hey, I'm famous!) had nothing to do with the TC or Atwa. To summarize, I was jumped by JSF (Judy) for using elements on a wall I had done, that she said were "hers". She sent me a rather arrogant pm on TSR. I replied that I had found that exact element on the web, and even sent the exact link so she could see it. She wrote back, not an apology, but basically saying, Well, ok, but don't let it happen again. Which made me mad. I was already (regrettably) involved in the TC fiasco, and still smarting from the emotional upheaval THAT caused, and I vented to what had been established as a safe place to rant and vent and get things off your chest - the Yahoo group. Well, someone there decided to copy and paste what I said and sent it to Judy. It was THAT breach of confidence that caused us to break up the Yahoo group, and migrate to Natural Sims, because we had no idea who the 'rat' was, and all future opinions were now at risk of being exploited. The removals were part of a general cleanup, and happened coincendently at the same time, (actually, it had started a few days before the "incident") but had nothing to do with it. We just cleared out people who had not posted in a long while, and had been considered "gone".

I will say now, that I didn't mean what I said, I was mad and already stressed out, and just needed to vent. I am really sorry it hurt Judy. I have nothing against her.

I will say, at the risk of angering certain other people, that as far as Anita being disliked by many now who were her supporters before, is that she started making statements on private forums of TSR, that certain people were this informer/pirate, or that informer/pirate, and just going out of control with her opinions and accusations about these people.  It got back to those people, who realized what a self serving backstabber she really was, and decided not to have anything more to do with her. She then tried to secretly infiltrate the group these people were on, and got caught. That was the nail in her coffin. She continues to make wild accusations about these people, and they are baseless, and untrue, but there are some who apparently believe her enough to keep the bad feelings going. In my opinion, she truly is a nasty piece of work. But hey, Karma will tell in the end. I just hope I'm far away when it does...lol.

I still contribute to TSR, however, any mesh I recolor is free, I will no longer link to/use any pay meshes.

I do not know who Coconut is, and I cannot confirm/deny stuff she says, as I am not privvy to the forums she is, but she seems to be well placed, and I have heard stuff she has stated confirmed by others. And Squooshy, I have no idea who you are either, but I'm not sure why you dislike me...maybe I ticked you off somehow, maybe I made a careless statement, and unknowingly caused your animosity, I have no idea. I really wish you'd come out to me privately, and confront me, get it out in the open, and see if we can't maybe fix this apparent rift. Whatever it was, I'm sure we can act like responsible adults and come to an agreement. Nurtured grievences are just not healthy. There is enough childish behavior as it is flying around this community, it doesn't serve any beneficial purpose.

Unfortunately, if you post here, you might get banned from TSR even though you stated at the beginning that you're not a pirate. It's been known to happen before.

  Atwa has a new mission - To clean up TSR, but not for the right reasons. She's taking the smut links from here and has taken it upon herself to take credit for finding them, trying to prove how much TSR needs her, in the bargain she is now spreading it about how little TSR needs kath, blaming kath for the whole TSR smut affair, saying that Kath should no longer approve submissions as she does not pay attention to the PG 13 ruling at all, Atwa is telling everyone she has suggested to Thomas he should let kath go and she will be willing to help him out with submissions. she said kath would be better suited handling submissions to an adult site.  She is also taking the chance to dig the knife into other FA's who she says are producing porn and are bad for the site.

She can try to take credit all she wants - the record is here, complete with timestamps.  Intersting though, about the FA portion of this....I can't wait to see how THAT turns out. (Popcorn anyone?)

Heh yes. I do not really see the long term advantage for her to pretend she discovered all the smut and take credit: the thead is here, and you can see from the times of the posts that it was written before she er 'found' it all at TSR. It means she will cause further fights within the FA group, cause conflict within the staff, and at Kath - if Thomas did get rid of her and replace her with Atwa, then there is just going to be a lot more ugly stuff approved lol..and am sure she will be unreliable with it, people will get upset the submissions are taking longer, she will bitch some more, more fights with creators, etc.

Atwa really does seem to be a very efficient idiot.

It just amazes me that there's so much politics involved in a community devoted to a game. Lord Almighty, it's better than a soap opera. I thought some of my fandoms were the worst in that regard, but now I know differently.

That said, I can't really say that I have anything against Atwa; I don't know her and haven't been involved in the community long enough to have been burned by anything associated with her or even to have had contact with her. I just got the game in March, after all. But if all that y'all are saying is true, then I really don't think she deserves any pity. I think she does need help, though. It seems like this game and its community are her life and that's just...well, sad.

Nasty how?  Unless those posts are a complete lie, and the OP of them hadn't been accused of something, then it's just the plain ugly truth.

If someone was accusing me of stealing textures they say they made, when I knew I'd used them from an actual source online, I'd definitely start checking out the rest of their shit--if only to protect myself from further accusations.  If it's mean to point that sort of shit out, then perhaps it's a lesson to take a deep breath and deliberate awhile before accusing someone of being a thief.

Those posts don't make River look bad, you know.

Now if you had shared the apology, I could perhaps think River's story was a little over-the-top, but you just produced proof that River had gotten upset at being accused of stealing.

Well, I will not deny I wrote those pms, because I did. As I had mentioned before, I was under immense stress and going thru the very emotional TC fiasco. I felt insulted and vented in what I thought was a private forum. Can ANY  of you say you have not done that in some way? I think not. I do regret in letting my emotions take over like that tho. But, I am only human.

This "No-Body" person is most likely the person who copied the pms, and sent them to Judy, along with other rants by others about Anita, and TSR. To me, that is the most horrible violation I can think of. It wasn't just me that it targeted. It was all the others on the group who got hurt,  and Judy got hurt too.  

No-Body, YOU are the nasty one. You obviously feel the need to bring others down, and to cause trouble. It's sad, really. What did you hope to accomplish by posting those?

Anyway, I will not reply again. I have said my piece, I've explaned my own point of view, and if No-Body/Anita Jr wants to rag on me, go ahead. The very fact she/he has those private pms, and posted them here, only proves my previous point. Get some help, hon.

I'm with Quinctia on this.   If you believe that you are in a private forum where you can freely express yourself, you are just blowing off steam and getting out the frustration that you feel. (I speak from experience  ).  However, I don't think River was wrong to be frustrated and she did indicate that there were other stresses adding to this as well.   So, I choose to giver her the benefit of the doubt.  It took guts to post that here, especially when she didn't have to explain herself at all.
