Awww, poor woman. . . the holidays are coming and everything, so two months worth of sympathy It's not about the holidays. It's just pure greed. Here is a link to a thread in June when she pulled the same crap. She even used the same catch, "The support for WfS goes lower and lower." If you notice in that email she also starts making people give their email addresses for the free stuff so she can start spamming more people! Also to note from that thread.. All that aside I have gotten emails from her in the past saying things similar to the typical paysite owner excuse for charging for content. So even before June she was begging for money. The woman has no shame. |

Also to note from that thread.. All that aside I have gotten emails from her in the past saying things similar to the typical paysite owner excuse for charging for content. So even before June she was begging for money. The woman has no shame. She's been shamelessly begging since the Sims 1 days. That's how long I've been getting these types of emails from her. So, considering she never closed down before when she sent out this kind of email I doubt she will this time. I'm with Hecubus - I think she'll move to TSR instead. |

Before I realised that she'd pulled this stuff before, I sent her an email about wicken nouk. Naively, I thought that perhaps help would make it easier for her to keep her site going. Silly, silly me! She wrote: For many years I searched for the right hosting: this moment I have the best for me. The problem is, that the free part needs much processor power, it's not a traffic or webspace problem. I will try to keep it alive, but the first step would be to close the free part. The WoodClub don't need so much hardware power of course. Then I could downgrade my expensive hosting. I find it very disappointing, because if she closed her free section, then I'd not download anything anymore. I refuse to ever pay for custom content ever again. And she makes such *nice* things, too. I love wooden surfaces.  |
