Isn't that like pheromones or something?   It's a real thing.

I identify people by their smell.

And here's me thinking I was the only one Smiley

It's not the 'sweat' kind of smell, just a smell a person has, whether he/she scrubs in the shower three times a day or not.
I can't befriend people whose smell I don't like either, and think my boyfriend has the most fantastic scent in the world.

Might be pheromones, I don't know.

No. It has nothing to do with hygiene.

 My husband smells the way he smells right out of the shower and first thing in the morning (minus the morning sock breath. That is NEVER pleasant) and even after working out. Under the sweat smell is another smell. I can't isolate the smell to determine WHAT it smells like. Just that it smells like him.

I discovered this when I learned why it was so difficult for anyone to sneak up on me. I may not be able to hear you, but I will smell you and be able to identify you that way.

The only advantage to smoking. Others can smell us, but we cannot smell them. I consider this a good thing, unless they are stalking us in the jungle.

Stalking us in L.A. would prove fruitless. I offered that as an option.

People seem to forget that LA is the city that has effectively banned smoking. Those that smoke are a mistreated minority and the subject of intense harassment.

What you meant to say was "Vegas."

Portland (Oregon) is smoke-free as well, can't smoke in any public place, and Bowling Green is well on its way (pretty damned progressive for a city in the south)... it annoys the piss out of me. Cheesy

lmao
i would think that it would be better to be a smoker who can simply smoke at home (and not harm people with their smoking) than being...i dunno...pick a minority...gay/lesbian/transgendered where you can get beat up, humiliated, ignored, have limited rights, etc no matter where you go pretty much....or being black some places where the cops beat you simply for being black or arrest you for being "black while driving".....or being mexican and told we dont want you here get out and stay out and if you continue to stay here we won't let you become legal so the only work you can get is dirty work no one else wants to do (and dont even ask for healthcare)
you poor smokers...no matter how hard it might be, at least there's a possibility you can quit being a smoker...its not like you can quit being gay/black/mexican/etc (well...unless you're michael jackson lol
)
