Sims2 Sisters?

Hey I'm a huge fan of Sims2 Sisters (don't know if they're a paysite or not, never payed attention) anyways I was wondering if anyone knew what happend to their site. I haven't been able ot access it for about two weeks now

They moved house to TSR and became an FA. They weren't pay before, now they are.

damn that sucks balls. Grant it their site was slow but I liked having just their stuff there and not having to worry about sorting through other crap to get it. GRRRRR

Well, they had the stuff I wanted anyway.  Which was like two things...

I think all their old stuff - ie what they had on their own site before closing it - is what they have for free.

New stuff seems to be going straight to pay

Yeah in their blog they posted new stuff can't be made free for some months or something.

It's been a while since I didn't get there because they had a trojan over their site. It's been 3 times that I get a trojan from sims site. First one was Sims2 Sisters, then Sim Chic (but they get rid off it after 3 days) and today I've got one that I had a hard time trying deleted it from Lifestyle...(don't remember the name exactly, I have deleted the link because anyway they closed).

I'm not an expert in software, either computer, but I suggest all of you to get an antivirus and to scan your computer. You can discover a lot of shit in there.

Are these coming from downloads, or from pop-ups from the sites?

I have an on-access scanner and scan both all individual downloads and regularly scan the entire HDD, and have never encountered a virus from any Sims 2 CC site (yet, anyway). I also have pop-ups and javascript blocked.

Yeah I once went S2S and my virus program notified me of a trojan right away. I was like WTF?!!

I have pop-ups blocked too, but I got an alert from my antivirus that I got a trojan in the same time the page was finishing loading. And I have high connection speed, so I click the link...and boom little gift has arrive!

Yeah, I got some stuff from them once and it was garbage for my mac. The virus/trojan couldn't run on my mac but the files were still a problem. They totally killed performance in the game. It's like something was trying to run behind the scenes and sucking all my RAM. I deleted their files since my game was fine before I installed their stuff and everything was fine again. I never returned.

I'm not real happy to see them at TSR now, and as an FA to boot. Thankfully I really don't care for their stuff so I'm not too concerned. I just hate to see them litter up TSR even more. I hope they left their viruses and trojans at home. Wouldn't that be something if they infected all of the TSR membership? The world may come to a complete halt.  :lol:

I was BLUE (not red) mad when they went to TSR, no viruses but still no files.  :evil:

:lol:  That reminds me of a nasty post I found over at TSR one time. The little twerp posted a link and it was a porn link but stated it was a sim of course. Being the responsible adult I am, I was suspicious so I clicked on it to see what no good they were up to. Indeed no good! My computer started screaming "I'm looking at gay porn!" and all these nasty, nasty, NASTY images were popping up all over the place.

I actually about died laughing and then I thought, oh yeah, kids are on TSR. I better report that to the mods. I did and it was gone instantaneously and I got a thank you PM. I really thought it was funny someone put that up on TSR and got away with it for a little bit, until I played Mom and reported it.  :roll: I don't have much love for TSR anymore.
