I really hope not though, that's how SMB imploded (but it wasn't such a loss as SFV would be! ). Maybe she was talking about the remnant of the old forum clogging their server and their files. If it's nevertheless a server problem maybe someone could host them. Delphy or Pes? |

Yes, but this is the reason why: Oh, dear lord, are they trying to run a site on WINDOZE?!? No wonder the place is a shambles. WINDOZE IS NOT FOR SERVERS! No doubt the horrific lack of a useable online interface turns what would be a 5-second automated task with a Perl script into a multi-hour nightmare. SAY NO TO WINDOZE SERVERS! Let's not forget that even running Windoze means you can say goodbye to half your system resources. A necessary evil, perhaps, for games, but completely unnecessary for a server.

Hope they quickly change their awkward system. lol you caught me cala, i haven't read the first pages as they were way too old, my bad and i make amend. Then i'm ashamed since i've been reading this forum since the 'big migration' - when the server was bought. Can't remember when it happened, maybe a year or two (was it feb 2006?? or summer? or 2007? lol) but i tend to read war topics or paysite-owner-comes-moaning ones way more and missed that SFV one...  |
