Thing is, the husband can't get the time off of work so we can go as a family and I am NOT going with any of my siblings, not after what was pulled on my son and myself at my father's funeral. See, my sister is taking care of her son's ex-girlfriend's child, has been for four months, and the kid isn't even her son's. She's determined that she is going to take custody of the child and adopt it as her own. Thing is, it has cost her a relationship with my son because this other kid seriously tries to hurt my son, her nephew. Well, at dad's funeral, and afterward at the get together, this child was acting up all over the place and being destructive and he's three months or a bit older than my son. My son wasn't being half as bad yet this other little brat was a little angel while I heard my son referred to as, and I quote, "Satan spawn". Sorry, I'm not going to expose him to that again. Also, the widow and her children don't wish me present at all, so I'm not going to give anyone more stress than they've been under. Meanwhile, they see fit to dump all sorts of shit on me. So, in the words of a very wise man, "they're no better than they ought to be and that's sad because they're throwing away blood in favour of flash." It's great that she wants to help this kid, but to talk about taking him away from his mother when the woman is struggling to get a job to be able to have a home for him to live in is sad. And not to mention wrong. And it's wrong to let him come between an aunt and her nephew and the rest of the family.

I may be wrong, but I think in the past Gwen has made a comment about not liking your sig. Thing is, to really appreciate it, you must hear it in the original Carlin to get the true meaning of it. Without his distinctive vocality, it loses much and just isn't funny. Really. I'm not trying to be offensive, but there are other quotes of his that are far funnier and less offensive to be found in his book by the name of "Brain Droppings". But to be honest, my friend, I really don't like your sig either, but I don't count because I'm just a lowly pirate.

I think because they are all thrown there together. I realize it is from a comedian, and I realize it may be funny during his routine. AND since I am the first one to cuss someone out I don't mind the cussing aspect of it. I just think it looks really low class. Just my opinion though.
