Pretty sure the last argument the paysites have to stand on is "Waaah, you're mean!" now.

Gah. Tell that to Rose. She insists that she uses copyrighted models and that EA can't legally force her to go free.

I say, "Wooo! Go HP!"

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Rose's recent arguments about her making her own meshes and textures and that making it hers, and others having used that argument, or at least bringing it up as a possible justification, was exactly why I asked about stuff made without their tools with completely original meshes and textures.

Can't just slap a new windshield and a fresh coat of paint on a Ford and claim it's a Rose.

Of course, it wouldn't -stop- paysites and they'll just come up with yet another whiny excuse as to why they don't have to listen, and EA will do nothing, but it is very very nice to see it confirmed.

Question about the links to paysites on the official site in the community fansites section and whether or not paysites will be invited to any future EA functions... sent.  Wink

I can't deny I really really want to see the answers to those questions.

And kudos on making your other set of questions so unambiguous that no one's managed to twist or reinterpret them as allowing pay items.

Well, you COULD, but then the nice young men in their clean white coats will be coming to take you away, hah hah...

If it's cool with you, I'll add this to the 'EA's Stance' page at Money Better Spent.

You'll need to rehost, I think, as MYP has a non-referrermajigger.  But sure, I don't mind people going, "Hey, lookit this!" and it's just a Firefox screenshot, not a drawing or anything.  Go for it.  Smiley

- No, few think at all.
- Why is that?
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her.
- Because, Adjunct, it is futile.

This is great stuff.  We now have everything in writing and can now sit back and watch paysites whine themselves to death  Cheesy

That is just too damn funny.

I actually would be very interested to see what Thomas has to say and how he will "lure" EA to paysites

Sure, I'm lazy, but I will accept hugs and flowers nonetheless.  I think that's about the best statement on the whole subject we're gonna get from 'em.
