What an insult.  Because someone says so in an unsigned email it must be true?  Yeahright.  I'm gonna send an anonymous email around demanding money, see who pays up.  Roll Eyes

The owner wants 'his' stuff removed from the booty...'his'?  Uh huh.

Lay off the hallucinogens, dude, they've impaired your reality.  Cheesy

She looks like a victim of the toaster-generator-alien vacuumer.

I believe Ikea actually makes chairs just like that, or used to.

If they're recliners, sims' arms and legs may be sticking out on invisible arm and foot rests, which is why those chairs are shown EMPTY of sims maybe?  Pay to find out, childrens!   Tongue

Heh, maybe that's what's left after Gilligan nuked a coconut in the wicker microwave and burned the rest of the hut to the ground.

Games were being pirated 20 fricken years ago.  What happened in the interim?  Billion dollar industry.

It's game companies that are driving away customers, not pirates.

You are talking to someone who knows all about Pirates and software. I never said securom would stop pirates. You can give me a legal copy of any game running securom and I will have it cracked within hours. I said securom is not a big deal when it comes to removing it and using a no cd crack.

Companies will continue to waste money on protection and cause some of you to have moderate issues. Securom is not going to burn up your computer or cause you to lose your job like some of the crap on simmers against securom. There are some security issue concerns but Sony fixes these issues. They have to be stupid and put some kind of protection for hackers to be able to have fun. games would be boring to a hacker if there was no protection. Grin

Anyone with and decent knowledge of how securom works and how a computer works should just fall down laughing at this.

I could careless about Securom! I just remove it and thats that!

I wasn't talking to you I WAS MAKING A SNIPPY COMMENT!   Angry

This isn't the worst I've seen, but I can't stand most of Liana's stuff.  The photoskinned wrinkles, that pixelated belt thing (actually, I'm not sure what it is), and the waistless mesh make it pretty bad overall.

<snip>
As a bonus, the models are wearing that Peggy hair! Wink

Why are all these paysite creators insisting we want our pixels to wear tin foil dresses? Erg! It's quite ugly. It wouldn't even be decent if she got rid of the wrinkles.

How many ribs did those sims have removed?!   Shocked  With the wrinkled weight of those skirts, and the piled on Peggy hair, you'd think they'd snap right over in half.

There is a recent interview w/Rod Humble re: TS3 wherein he mentions an Exchange a la TS2, so there will be some kind of user creation thang available:

http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/pc/the-sims-3/891476p1.html

"I'd say that a lot of our customers are really interested in making things in the game and customization. We've made it a lot easier to upload to the exchange [the online Sims content repository]. We've also deepened the ability to customize objects. So if you want to change the pattern on this table to, let's say, the texture of my trousers, you can do that. Not only that, but you can map it to the wallpaper, and even your car."

She had to settle for some bogus sounding thing called Worldsims for representation:  http://paysites.mustbedestroyed.org/legal/simfreaks.txt

Oh noes, they are sharing our flaming orange terlets for free!  Sic something on them!
70  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Your Ugliest Paysite Creation Find: Round Two. on: 2008 July 15, 03:33:21

EDIT: Now I'm wondering what that is on the table...

Is it a...specimen?   Huh

Evi is drugging those children - I bet they're being brainwashed in on Planet Buntah too!   Angry

Cheesy  Love the black...waist..bag...purses  Huh  on those Buntahfied leotards...oh, Miss Purple Crotchcloth!  So delighted to live in a pit with a pool!  That's livin'!

72  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Official Survey: They're going to sell individual downloads!?WTF?! on: 2008 July 04, 13:44:34
Those surveys are usually BS, after the fact, let's throw this at the wall and see what sticks since we're gonna do it anyway type things.

I read through the 400 reply thread started by SMLisa about the store and found it amusing how many BBSers were horrified that EA opened a paysite, VIOLATING THEIR OWN EULA!  Cheesy  Which is silly, of course, but the anti-paysite sentiment was evident in many posts.

EA:  taking inverse response experiments to new highs!

- Securom CP:  breeding more and more pirates with every release.
- EAStore:  making even the most rip-offing paysites look good.
- EA customer service:  my sofa has better response times.
- EA products:  throwing money out the window of a speeding car is more satisfying.

Okay, instead of armrests - bungie cords!  Like in Thunderdome.
74  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: More Smutty Than You: TSR's Hall of Shame on: 2008 June 19, 21:38:35
I don't like this hovering thing. That's how pee gets on the public toilets in the first place. I either avoid the public ones (I have a freakishly huge bladder, medically verified) or I use covers. I carry a couple with me.

Amen.  That's NASTY, leaving your sprinkles when you tinkles!

We need armrest support type things and a higher, narrower bowl...I'm gonna stop thinking about this now.   Undecided
75  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: More Smutty Than You: TSR's Hall of Shame on: 2008 June 18, 05:46:28
Dammit, Tomato.  I didn't ask that question, and resisted googling temptation, because I really didn't want to know what gleet was, because I knew it would be bad.

And you asked.  And someone googled.  And it was bad.

Why you do that?!   Cry

(I was so hoping it was a made-up word!  Cheesy)
