Then DOT will come out with another tutorial which only proves we did in her mind, but to everyone else it's as rubbish as her lamp law.  Would someone be so kind as to point me towards more information about this lamp law? (I've tried searching every way I know, and all I can come up with is references to it. Apparently it has something to do with 'shape'...) It sounds lolzy, but not enough to wallow in the muck of TSR in an attempt to look for it. We don't have any copies of it. Ask Dot, she'll gladly help you out. But legend has it, that anybody reading it, goes crazy immediately and starts making ugly lams for TSR and crazy tutorials proofing nothing at all. The more I think about this lolzy letter, the more I do believe, that it is indeed another way of distracting the community from the real issue. It's just a way by TSR to put themselves back as the victim here and have people feel sorry for them. Well, guess what Thomass and Co, we still think Shakeshaft is a thief and Thomass is a haxxor.

I had to laugh so hard when I read that, I thought about making it my sig too. Edit: I also love how he says there is a separate EULA for their business model pointing to Drea's statement because all legal statements end with I'm not posting this without the permission of our Sims team. Just to be clear, this statement is coming from our Sims team which includes all management for all of our games and our Sims legal team. ZOMG1!! I also don't remember agreeing to it, so it doesn't matter to me. |

Maybe a pirate theme was not the best to choose for the PMBD movement. Piracy really refers to people who steal stuff they should have paid for (eg ripped off commercial software).
Wouldn't a Robin Hood theme have been less confusing? I do have to admit that every time there's a news story about a cruise ship getting jacked I sort of cringe. But, despite that, I also realize that there's also the more alluring side of pirate lore, and I think that's the side that Pescado has tapped into. A lot of people can relate to and have fun with pirate themes (I'm pretty certain more people probably dress as pirates on Halloween than, say, TSR FA's) not to mention how Hollywood has popularized pirates. Besides, Pescado and his band of Merry Men? - Dressing up as a TSR FA would truly be one scary Halloween costume. Just imagine them coming to your house now, begging for shit from you (not like that's anything new - the begging part)? |

What I don't understand is, why people (ahem clitfist) are so threatened by a person lifestyle, especially a person they don't know and most likely will never know? It's not like Darqstar is hurting anyone by not having children. Clitfist is acting like she is killing bunnies. She's just made a choice about how to live her own life.
ETA: And only closed minded people will argue till they're blue about some strangers lifestyle.
