http://www.mediafire.com/?o0lwcwlonjg - Textures for Moune or anyone else who wants them.  Smiley I don't think any of them have been edited so they're seamless since I tend to edit as needed and not save. There are some that should tile pretty easily though.

eta: Forgot to mention what kinds of textures are in there. There's stripes, checks, toile, the leaf one and 2 more like it, some florals (ones that caught my eye along the way..not to frilly)...there's more than that. There's quite a few- and they're mostly .jpeg's around 500X500, some bigger, some a bit smaller.

Moune, I don't know if you saw over at MTS but I, too, have lots of textures. Paden gave me some of them but I do have a lot I found on my own and alot of them are 512x512. I have a set that's coordinating that I really like- it has checks, stripes and toile in red, pink, yellow, green, purple, black- um I think there's 2 blues. If you want those let me know and I'll get them to you.

The table? I HATE it. It's cloned from the Crazy 8 end table so it's not really meant to be ate on. (I think?) I was thinking the same thing about the bench frame. The polys right now are low so adding some roundedness won't hurt it. I haz another idea for the table....

Can I haz feedback/ideas/opinions please? For some reason I got it in my head to make a set based on stars. So.. well, here's what I have so far. The stars are done- except for the shadows which I'm not sure about. It's my first try at custom shadows. The bench and table are far from done and I'm not loving them yet.

There's also a star wall hanging that's not pictured. All the stars have 3 recolors and they're not as dull and boring as what's shown here.

eta: Pic of the wall hanging (which I AM loving) and some of the recolors of the others..to prove that I do have an imagination when it comes to choosing textures.. sometimes.

Uh, yeah. Sorry Shan-Chan..but I'd much rather see the cheese. The cheese is much easier on the eyes and doesn't make my brain hurt. There's also the side benefit of the cheese being quite tasty.

For some reason, I want a grilled cheese sandwich now.

What. You don't like cheese? Is there something wrong with cheese? Cheese is good. I like cheese. Unless it stinks like dirty socks.

Well, someone obviously didn't like their pics being linked to (hotlinked?) so that person substituted the cheese. (I think that's what happened.)

The highchair looks much better now, fway.

Something purely decorative, but fun:

Doesn't the 3-tile desk at MTS function like a desk should? I can't remember who made it- it's an older mesh and I think "Hudson" is in the name of it. It's in my dl folder and I have used it- but I don't think any of my sims have actually sat at it...and if they have, I don't remember. But I do know that you can put a computer on it.

Yeah, there is a thread about FP at Black Pearl Sims. He posted in it saying that it was an April Fool's joke. (I didn't go to his site to check anything out however.)

This is something I've worked on for the last month: stained glass doors and windows.

Looking back, I think I wasn't quite ready to tackle doors and windows- but it was quite the learning experience and I'm pleased with the results. If'n you like them and wants them- you can get them http://www.sailfinsims.com/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=291..I submitted them at MTS, too for the current challenge. Smiley

edited to add better (I hope) pics.  Wink

That poor toddler. Having boobs that big at such an early age is bound to cause back problems by the time she's 12.

What in the hell is that creator thinking? Toddlers/little girls being "just like mommy" is alright for some things..boobs isn't one of them.
11  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Your Ugliest Paysite Creation Find: Round Two. on: 2010 March 27, 17:47:14
Um...ah...um.. yeah, ok. Why in the world does it look like that little girl has boobs? Not little ones, either- B cup at least. FFS, remove the damned under-boob shadows and get rid of the low-cut, cleavage creating neckline on the damned thing! Matching swimsuit? Nah. It looks like the little girl is wearing mommy's swimsuit.

I won't even go into the extra fabric riding down the leg.

What amazes me about that "outfit" is that the creator felt that such a little bit 'o nothing bra needed such a heavy-duty clasp, fastener, whateveritscalled in the back. (Yea, I'm a girl and don't know what that part is called.) I'm gonna be near Wal-Mart tomorrow, I need to see if I can find me a bra with itchy, scratchy lace hanging down from it. Looks super comfy.

Nice touch with the keyhole shape on the garter thingy though. Hahaha.

Well, um..it IS a sofa and there ARE pillows. Although it DOES look like the sofa was carved out of wood and the pillows DO look like those body-pillows that went on a diet...and they look like birch bark on top of that. I can't really tell- is that supposed to be for 2 or 3? I remember there being a curved sofa for 2.

Cheesy I forgot about that and I suddenly feel better about turning 4442 (heehee) soon..I've got 4 more years before I officially age in Pescadoland.

Me being as curious as I am, I had to click. I'm glad I did- I needed a good laugh.

"Properly"? "PROPERLY"?? And the TS3 workshop was used to do this?

Welcome, to the most supportive and friendly site on the web for The Sims.
Roll Eyes Uh, huh. Sure. And I'm really a 90-year-old, 3 ft. tall man sitting on a mushroom typing in my long-johns*.  Roll Eyes
