What and pollute sewer systems and ultimately waterways with that foulness?

lol.  Just noticed that.  I think my brain must have gone for a walk without me Cheesy

Um, yeah.  I do believe it is.  Hardly suitable for a PG site, is it not?

I agree with no ginger in a ginger snap cookie.  Seaweed is good for sushi, and in a sakata, but not a ginger cookie.

The cook thing about husband not liking anything that I cook is that he has to do all the cooking. I apparently do a shoddy job at doing the dishes, so guess who has to wash the pots too Cheesy

Not good.  My hubbie still indulges in garlic bread.  But he moans and groans for the rest of the day and night afterwards.  Because of it that though, I don't often cook stuff with garlic in it.  But then again, I don't cook much of anything, because apparently everything I cook (apart from my stir fries and one or two other recipes) makes him sick.  The rest he just doesn't like (doesn't like mango chicken, lemon chicken, lamb korma, butter chicken . . . .)

I think its actually high in iron - which would explain why it makes people with thalessimia sick.

A high heel is actually better for your feet than a flat.  I know this for a fact because I got plantar fascitis (or however you spell it) last year after wearing ballerina shoes all the time, when before I'd always have something with a heel. Walking around in the morning when I first get up is still a slow and painful process right now

I know, but some folks really hurt after eating that stuff, myself included.

My husbands got thalassemia minor so he tends to react to garlic a bit too.

Thank you for clarifying what you meant Darqstar.  I must admit I do get a little hypersensitive on the topic.  I've come across people who honestly believe that there is no such thing as a mental illness, or ADD or Aspergers or any of those.  That there just another way of scamming money out of people, and another excuse that people can fabricate to justify their existence.  That and the fact that you mentioned Aspergers in the list, which is still a raw nerve with me (I was diagnosed as having it when I was little, but it wasn't until I was 26 that my mother told me that I had it.  It came as quite a shock, but it did indeed explain a few things for me.)

I do agree that there is a degree of choice and accountability.  Everyone has choice, regardless of their situation.  It would be crazy to say that a blind person chooses to be blind, or that you choose to have ADD. But you can choose how you deal with it, and what actions to take.  And you are right, just about everyone has some sort of a mental condition, but for some most its an endearing little quirk . . . .

I could continue, but right now its 3 am, and I am now so tired I feel nauseous, shakey and weepy.  I really should be getting to bed ASAP.

Axeleefe, from someone who has done a little 'drink posting' in the past, take it from me.  Do not blame your behaviour on the booze.  Even if you get so inebriated you don't remember what you did the next day, you are still somewhat aware of what you are doing at the time, and there is still a modicum of self control.  So control.  Alcohol doesn't make you do anything. And the only person dragging this out is you, so shut it.

And Darqstar, please don't start with including mental illness and neurological disorders as being excuses, and can be helped.  If a clinically depressed person could help feeling as bad as they would, they wouldn't be like that in the first place.

In Australia, we have channel V and V2, which generally plays nothing but music videos.  (Husband just upgraded our Foxtel to Foxtel IQ with the platinum package, so we get Channel V, V2, MTV, VH1, MusicMax.  Yeah.  We have a few music channels I think.

In Australia what you call 'flip flops' we call Thongs, and I practically live in them during the summer.  I have heeled ones, platforms, you name it.  You do get a little rubbing, and the odd blisters at the start of the season, but the skin toughens up and the thongs straps generally  soften.  My last pair of thongs my dog chewed to bits, so I think I may need to invest in a new pair next season Tongue

Around the house I'm big on big fluffy/furry slippers.  My last pair were hot pink.  This year I have a pair of white shaggy furry boots with pom poms.  I have a white dressing gown that I tend to wander around the house in too.  Tis a good look.
