I think "bloke" is more used by well, blokes.  It was severely overused by Kevin Bloody Wilson, and now most women hate it, I think.
I love Kevin Bloody Wilson Grin
I use mate all the time, but not so much in text mediums, as I don't want to sound like I'm condescending or being over familiar, as I normally don't wear a badge saying "I'm an Aussie, it's nothing personal".
I do the same thing.

I use "sheila" and "mongrel" Cheesy "bloke" is not a much used word but you still hear it every now and then.

Everybody is mate however, all my friends are mate, anyone I can't remember the name of is "old mate"

I have never used "G'Day" or "fair dinkum"  I should use them with the next lot of tourists that come through here Cheesy

Reading the last few pages of this thread has made me realise how very glad I am that I have a son. The worst thing I can find for him is clothes that look like what his dad wears, and I actually think thats adorable Grin I can dress my boys up to match Cheesy  I've not looked at the little girl clothes because I had no need to, and I don't go out much so I can't say I have seen to much of it around here.
You do see a lot of primary school girls with skinny jeans and tight tops, navel/nose/40 million ear piercings though. I think that disturbs me more than anything else.
Kids should be kids, not miniature adults.

I remember the only makeup I had was that glaringy bright stuff, snot green, fluro pink and bright blue Cheesy I spent many days looking like a clown I am sure Cheesy

What I want to know is...
Quote
Defamation and sharing personal messages at anti-TSR sites
Is Live Journal anti-TSR? or is he just pulling things out of his ass?
Defamation ---> is FALSE rumours/information said in a damaging way to make persons look bad. This isn't false Cheesy so it's not defamation.

Tomato - Just thought I'd let you know you missed your name in one of the posts Wink
Tis an interesting read so far to be sure.

Self-loathing is awesome for TSR.  If you hate yourself, TSR can promote you to FA and then rebuild you in their image.  If they were all self confident, they wouldn't need to get paid for pixels, would they?

That's been one of my bigger butthurt points on this whole thing.  If all the rumors I've heard are true, the best you can make is 500 bucks a month doing this.  Okay, that's not bad, but if that's the very best, that's about 125 dollars a week.  These people are willing to risk people suffering from identity theft for 125 dollars a week at the most?  Nice, very nice.
You have a very good point there. But would most teens even think of that? I know when I was that age my only thoughts would have been "money" these people want to give me money. I'll admit I was a shallow little bitch however Cheesy
The hardest part was snipping the post so it would fit in a smaller width.  Once I did that, the rest was simple. My photoshop skillz are pretty poor too.
I couldn't even do that Grin

I cannot count the amount of times I have tried to put some of those plants on end tables, only to realise it wont work.
Thank you! Kiss

Good one, BlackDwarf. Like Lirael pointed out, the idiot actually states that children developing a sense of self-worth is problematic.

Yeah, I hadn't seen Lirael's when I started making mine.  I just saw that one post and was horrified.

Thats pretty much the same reaction I had. What the hell else are we supposed to be teaching the young ones in the community? Self-loathing? good one TSR, now we know what you really think.

I like yours better Grin I wanted mine like that, but my photoediting skillz are non-existant, and it wouldn't all fit in the online one Cala posted up.

After seeing this load of bile I couldn't help myself. Does this woman even realise what she is saying? Undecided

I'm also sitting here refreshing that page Grin Coconuts comments are the most ammusing thing on there.

I have to admit I was pretty worried when this thread came up the other day, I once paid those bastards (I wont call it a donation, since it never was) for a few months. IIRC it was around the time that thread was being posted in. I certaintly shared everything I had with my friends, At that point in time I really had no opinion either way in the free/pay debate. Sure I paid, but I shared too Cheesy
Thankfully my name isn't on there. Unfortunately, some of you guys are Angry
I hope paypal is being cooperative with everyone who has contacted them. I'm sure Tomass and Co are denying everything whenever paypal contacts them. But if enough people send in a complaint from this end, paypal will have to (hopefully) take it seriously, and make a decision that someone is lying, and it's not the complainers.

These are great guys! Wonderful idea Calalily Grin

Unfortunately I suck at this type of thing, so I have none to share. I shall just sit back and wait for the more talented people to post theirs up Cheesy
