It said something along the lines of "Yay, atwat is gone" or something like that. Incidentally, I forgot how to take a screen shot. Anyone care to refresh my memory?

Have they ever wanted to change their styles? I mean, I always figured people who wear makeup wouldn't want it there day-in-day-out-forever-and-ever-and-ever, or at least, not always the same style/color/etc. And it's not like that's a tattoo that would be laser-friendly should one change one's mind, no?

Oh, yes, River, I agree. My boy's 11 so he's not allowed to swear at all. But when he gets older, I will be a little more lenient with him, as my parents were with me. But there will always be words that I won't allow in my house. Mostly gay-bashing words or terms, but probably a few more. Hopefully by the time he's an adult, he'll know enough to censor himself if need be. And speaking of errant kids, I was wondering if anyone had posted this before? It seemed wrong... for T$R, anyway. Is it me, or is this teen sim definitely pregnant? I mean, it says "well-rounded teen" but come on, that's a little too round, if you ask me... I was under the impression that T$R did not advocate teen pregnancy (and had nothing to do with inteen).

When my kid came up to me and asked what a 'douche bag' is, I told him in the politest way possible what it means, literal and slang versions. I would be doing him no favors by avoiding the subject. There are few things that I wouldn't tell him if he asked because the truth is, it's not going to harm him. He knows that calling someone a douchebag is not nice or polite. But it's one more thing that he learns from me rather than from kids at school. But TSR saying that you can't have anything to do with nipples, then letting the "Pussy" dress out? It's like saying "Hey kids, when you grow up, go ahead and be as crude and immature as you want. Just remember that real people with real bodies are bad, bad, bad." I mean, everyone has nipples, right? So, instead of being a rigidly PG-13 site, they waver. It's like they're too lazy to keep up the wholesome image, but too greedy to take it down and possibly risk parents not forking over money for their kids' subscriptions. But I'll wager an apple to an acorn that none of the kids are bothered by any of it. If I was a *12* I would be rejoicing over more realistic Sims. I'd be like Yeah, I'm so over Barbies, Mom. Hello, I'm *12*!In the end, it's T$R's hypocrisy that is so offensive. And that's why this thread is win.

What a bad excuse, though, huh? I mean, come on, being hooked up to the net for less than 5 years? I've been hooked up for less than 2. Moreover, my family didn't even have a phone until I was 16. But I still know enough not to call people assholes - particularly when they've been on a site longer than I have!

Also, one's face does not determine one's brain capacity. What was it, the Triceratops that are supposed to have had the walnut-brain?
