1  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Poor Atwat.... on: 2008 October 24, 14:24:44
Not saying that I am an atwa expert or anything close to that. I did spend every night for 6 months talking to her.
You realize you are going to need therapy now, right?
She had Thoma$$?  Shocked
That is what she claims. But then she would turn around and call him her son.As you guys have seen.YUK!

Shocked After reading that, I'm going to need therapy, too.  Icky stuff, especially the part about her calling him "son". Eww!
*Desperately wants to make a some sort of "Come to mama" -joke, but will not, since it would be in bad taste*

About: Atwa.
Yeah, she seems like a sad, lonely person. If she has no friends or family outside TSR, I understand why she's so obsessive about Thomass and TSR in general. However, that doesn't excuse her behaviour. If you're not suffering from serious mental illness that prevents you from functioning in "normal" society alltogether, you are responsible for your actions. Just because you're on the Internets doesn't mean that you can backstab everyone and expect to get away with it. Obsessing over some married guy who is much younger than you just isn't cool.

Atwa, go out, clear your head and start making some real friends.

it maddens me when they talk about aspberger's and autism as being so horrid illness.
What utter silliness. Totally agree with you, Foxy.
Asperger's is not an illness. Illness is something you can cure, whereas people who have Asperger's are just... Born different. IMO, that is not an illness. Furthermore, people who have Asperger's can usually learn to function better in society with some training (as in, how to act in different situations, what kind of behaviour do "normals" find frightening/agressive/non-friendly etc.). The training doesn't "cure" them, but it can help them.

I've taught some kids with Asperger, and while they were different, I never thought they were ill. Just different from other kids. Also, drawing the line between somebody who has Asperger's and somebody who is just very eccentric is very hard. One of my students, I never realised he had Asperger's before somebody mentioned about it to me. He was just rather quiet and often liked doing things on his own. One of his classmates was also tested for Asperger's, but the tests came back negative, even though he exhibited several characteristics (bluntness, inability to read other kids' reactions, obsessing over certain things, etc.)  It was funny, though, I ended up treating him like he had Asperger's, as he reacted to instructions much better that way.  Wink

Three kids too.  It just boggles my mind to no end, though out of the Vyv makeup, he looks pretty normal and all.  But I've watched the Young Ones for so long....*has collectors dvds and everything* that....well, he'll always be Vyv - kind of like Tim Curry will always be Frankie...

Yep. That is almost as strange as finding out that Jamie Lee Curtis is married to Nigel Tufnel.

Ohhh, he's gorgeous. I want him!
Super pretty, doesn't look emo to me (then again, I'm attempting becoming emo *cough* so, how should I know?)

Strive for being a goth instead - much better music Smiley

Yep. Goth music is much better. And emos are whiny kids, whereas goths are just whiny.  Wink

Before anyone attacks me for bashing goths:
Been there, done that, and as a result, 95 % of my clothes are still black. Wink

I did that too, Cala.  Now I have PMBD, so Food Network goes largely unwatched around here now.

I always come to PMBD when I procrastinate. At the moment I'm supposed to be correcting exams, but instead I'm posting here.

OT: Tabby, your avie is hypnotic.

You're saying that she hacked herself and gave herself a virus? Ohhh, that sounds nasty, don't it?

If she did, she probably sent herself the mug, too. Once a drama queen/attention whore, always a drama queen/attention whore.

Hmm. I just thought of something. What if Atwa is Coconut?   Shocked

After all, Coconut feeds Atwa's drama needs.

If Atwa was Coconut, she could she not be feeding us inside information to punish ThomAss for his transgressions with his wife? (Re: The leaked infertility treatment info.) Every time Atwa seems to disappear from the Sims community Coconut posts something about her to stir up the hornet's nest. Coconut feeds Atwa's DramaLlama needs. Coconut's rumours about Atwa ensure that Atwa is the most talked about person in the Sims fandom. (Not really, but that's what Atwa likes to imagine.) She can also use the "OMG, teh pirates r so MEEN 2 me!" card forever to milk sympathy from the TSR sheeple.

No wonder they haven't been able to discover who Coconut is...  Wink

Interesting theory, isn't it?  Grin

That is a tremendously funny macro, Feverish.

I typed that into a binary translator and was disappointed to find it just jibberish.  Sad

MissA, you're SUCH a nerd.  Wink

I thought I heard somebody say something?

Mando, you say? Didn't we have a member called Mando at some point? I think I remember him.  Grin

Just kidding, Mando, you know we luvs you.

Love the macros, BTW. You guys rule. This is one of the funniest threads since Jan lost her marbles.  Grin
9  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: Exnem Sims Steals Sappire Sims 2 Meshers with lures of cash for objects!!! on: 2008 September 30, 18:08:04
Thanks Cala, I was a bit confuzzled too.  Cheesy

Anyways, drama is always interesting, but I'm sorry that the Sapphire Sims people got mixed up in it. It seems to be that they were played and that Simcoasters are trying to make them to be the bad guys.  Roll Eyes

Although drama is interesting, we haven't had a good fight in ages. Is there any chance that the Simcoasters would come here to defend their stance/accuse Sapphire members/argue in general and provide lulz?

If there is, how can we lure them here?
We need some MOAR FIGHT!  Grin

Apparently a failed attempt to imitate Aikea's/Gelydhs grunge chic aesthetics. Not only unoriginal but also badly done. Boo & hiss!

alia, did your dragons hatch? I just now noticed the shells had holes in them... Don't mind me, up late last night with some computer issues... Damn piece of laptop.

Nope, not yet. But I'm betting it won't take long now. Smiley

Muchos kudos to Millie for coming up with the idea. Cheers, mate!  Grin

For the record, while I admire Peggy's prowess, I have never paid for her work as it is not something I personally believe in. I do not think Peggy's work is perfect, but what is in this world? When it comes down to it it is still amazing and astounding.

Alas, I have been forced to retire from using The Sims 2 indefinitely so there is no reason for me to stay at this website, or any other Sims 2 website for that matter. As a matter of fact I wandered in here quite by accident. I may return here someday or I may not, who knows?  I am always needed somewhere. However, I bid you all farewell and wish you the very best.

Yours truly,
BeautifulButtercup.

That is a soupage if I ever saw one.

Bye, ButtCup. I can't say you'll be missed, but at least you provided slight amusement and many amazing and astounding comments.   Grin
