*sobs* I miss cheese. Cheese makes everything better! Ok, except maybe icecream...  Tongue

Mmmm, Bakers Delights has sinfully good things! I adore their Tiger Topped loaves, with all the extra-crunchy flaky bits on the top... It's a battle to get one aorund here, they always sell out so quickly  Grin

No one here is scary. Well, not too scary, anyway. Wait, that wasn't right. *Does best Johnny Depp "duh, Pirates," look*.

*passes Pepsi to go with the cookies* The rum is really strong, have this instead!

My parents built their house in 1956, and the what would now be authentic retro look was just gorgeous (from what I can tell of pictures); polished timber floors, white walls, aqua feature walls, bakelite and enamel kitchen furniture and appliances in black and white... But then, Mum had some kind of brain-fart in the 70s when my sister and I were born and decided that carpeting the whole living area plus their bedroom in red, orange, yellow and bown shag carpet, painting every one of the walls a nice colour I like to call "rental beige", a nice mission brown lounge suite with orange and yellow accent cushions and then decoratve touches, also in orange, would be a good thing.

Luckily, I was spared the indignity of suffering that combined with lime green, but I can tell you it was traumatic. Like growing up in one of the outer circles of HELL. I half expected Mephistopheles to appear and claim my soul.

And the house STILL looks like that.

It's got me wondering just what one has to do to have them all turn on someone like that, and who is next in line  Grin

Oh wow, those are awesome. I love having my sims' art, cds and magazine covers with sims rather than human pictures *snags*.

One of my friends had a Pom and it was a vile, hateful little beast too. It tolerated HER and no one else. Anyone else, it would bite if they so much as tried to go near it. Sometimes even if they didn't, and would go out of it's way to nip people. Evil creature.

Congratulations, Grandma Cheesy. I bet they're cuties.

Those are some really good-looking walls, Dachs. The blue is especially lovely.

Paden- I feel the same way and have recently gone to only my favs of cc (blakes sofas and such as well) but I have gone around the community and gotten quite a few "completer sets" from various places that take the maxis thrift store finds and turn them into actually sets.  Also, I have almost a complete set of the recolors from Piggys (www.piggis-sims.net) so that all of the woods are consistent and everything is more mix-n-match friendly.

I might have to do that myself, and get rid of some excess CC. That link looks like just the thing!

lol, And what is up with EAxis and the non-matching stuff? I figure they are all right out of college and don't realise that real world don't always decorate in Garage Sale, and that people sometimes try and have matching things  Grin

Ooh, the hair on the right is definitely prettier.

I agree too; more retro dos would be brilliant.

No skin in the shower IS creepy. Especially when you're using Crammyboy's penis... A floating head and penis - with nothing else - is kind of... disturbing
