Just saw it tonite, and will keep Smiley

oh and my new find... make sure you and your gay bear keep safe !  Not that condom adds are a bad thing but I thought the tsr was a family site.

It's not a condom actually. It's some sort of self-tanning pad/tissue (or something like that, not sure how to translate it acurately)

That "bed" looks like a dune buggy that has lost its wheels, motor, steering wheel and good taste!

Sims2Coast had a dune buggy with that very frame (and an ungodly amount of polys). Recycling much?

I thought someone in a thread around here offered another program that scans your entire system for duplicate files? I know I read it somewhere.

That program would be Esay Duplicate Finder.
I can't find the orginal thread where it was mentioned, but it was not too long ago on this forum.

The one with the darker hair (In the red dress) is that one Fashion Club member that was a total bitch on Daria

That would be Sandi Griffin.

I would scare people if I went out of the house without a bra.

You don't own a shirt? Wink

What makes an american kitchen is not what you put in it, but the way the kitchen is built into the house. The kitchen is separated from the living/dining room by a half-wall and an arch (no door). The half-wall is most of the time used as support for an eating surface.

That feature was the selling point of many a house back in the seventies and early eighties here in France.

Ok, I see. So just to clairfy, an "American" kitchen is one that has the main dining area as part of the kitchen, not a completely separate area? Is that right?  When I was growing up, the house I lived had been built in the 50's and our kitchen was one large room that included space for a large table, which was where we ate. Interesting. Are all/most of European kitchens completly set aside from the dining area, like a separate room then?

The main dining area can be part of the kitchen or not, depending on the size of the kitchen or of the house. Qualification for "American kitchen" comes from the half-wall/arch combo, not whether you also use it as a dinig area or not.
The traditional kitchen for most European houses is to have the kitchen as a completely separated room (ie 4 solid walls, and a real door connectng it to the rest of the house).

Nope, so far I can't figure out what makes my kitchen more "american" than say, my friend in England's kitchen...or my other friend in France....we all got the same stuff.

Seems stupid, really.....it's the idea that this person is trying to sell their set as a specific culture-influenced....but how is it specific?  Huh

And I've got one more question. The front of the house looks really... bland I guess. I'm assuming it's because the entry is off a hallway, but there aren't any windows on the front face (except one I added for the bathroom), and if I put some in it looks funny because they intersect with stairs and stuff. Totally not an issue as far as gameplay (the only dark room is the little computer room upstairs), but since MTS2 requires a screenshot of the house from the street, should I jazz it up a bit, and if so, how? Tack on some pointless windows? Move the palm tree so it fills more of the dead space? Or does it not really look that terrible and I'm just being over-sensitive?

A few patches of flowers would add a bit of color (next to the mailbox, and on the right side of the tree), and one or two wall lights would break the greyness of the wall.

Thanks for the updated consoles, Blueblood. My Sims missed them too.

Are the instructions for updating the consoles to FT available somewhere?

Ha, since when is Halo considered goth?

These pictures make my brain cry.

Duh, it's a black shirt. That makes it Goth... right?
