I have a whole neighborhood of game characters, as well as my fictional characters.

...I really need to take out the ones of me and my family, because it does creep me out to see "me" walking past the house of the cast of FFX.  I made our house before I made any of the others, though.

In my Sims 1 game, I gave my sister a neighborhood, and she put all her friends plus her current boyfriend in one house, and then herself and Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer in another.  Of course, she was like 14 at the time!

Couldn't you have ripped the nasties a new one in the thread before you locked it?  Especially the one threatening the banning?

I'm so used to SomethingAwful.  If someone had said that on there, they'd probably get probated for at least a week.

I'm sure someone has made Silence of the Lambs themed skins.  Buffalo Bill (complete with skin suit?), Clarice, Hannibal.

Charging for sims content is more along the lines of charging for fanfic.  You're asking people to pay you money for something that you infringed copyright by claiming as your own.

And anyone who tries to charge for work in the fanfic community?  Is taken down summarily.  It's a self-regulating system.  It's sort of the mantra that in order for fanfic to survive, it has to be free.
