Vampire, you sound like you are making money hand over fist off this community, or else you wouldn't be here screaming.  Does this site threaten your livelihood that much?  Perhaps you need a new job, maybe in the janitorial field?

Want her dead or tortured for eternity? Isn't that, um, kind of a lot for some crazy broad on the internet? Does she really affect you that much, especially now that she's no longer a mod at MTS2?

I have my reasons.  Perhaps I'll get my wish.

If she even posted real pics of herself to begin with.  You can put pics up of anyone and claim it's you.  Doesn't mean it is.  For all we know, she's really six hundred pounds with a beard and a mustache          Those could be pics of someone she/he knows in real life, or anyone.  This is the internet, fraud is rampant.  I've been to forums where everyone just happens to look like they just stepped out of a Hollywood cafe.  Yeah, right.

It's true that looks mean nothing.  It's what you do that counts.  And her personality and actions are such shit that I would still want her dead whether she looked like a movie star or the bearded fat lady from a circus.  Death is too good for her.  I think if she was screaming in pain permanently that might make me feel better.

The sad thing is, before Lyric Lee joined MTS2 staff, it wasn't a really bad place.  As soon as she joined, the whole feel of the place changed to shit.  As far as I'm concerned, she destroyed that place.  If she ever does read this, Lyric, I hope you rot in hell.  I hope every scummy thing you've done on there comes back at you a thousand fold.  What you do in cyberspace does have consequences just as much as what you do in real life.  And one day, you will have to pay for what you have done.  You might not think so now, but there will come a time when you will see I am right.

This is the very reason I refuse to ever post at S2C, they're all stupid.

If a "pay" mesh shows up on the Exchange and EA does nothing about it, then it's free for the taking.

If EA doesn't say it's "illegal", than it's not illegal.

The morons over there have a very warped sense of what real stealing is.

There will always be good things to download regardless of whether or not a few insane, uptight, paysite creators take their files and go home.  Just because Retail Sims is no more doesn't mean the Sims world has come to a screeching halt.  It goes on.  And I have no trouble still finding things to download.  There are still plenty of free sites out there with good content.

So they'll ignore the mess and move on selling EPs and stuff packs.

I would think the paysites would harm EA's profits as many people would rather buy a paysite set than a pack.  The packs are kind of bland in comparision.

EA will do whatever is cheapest for them.  They won't spend one cent on lawyers fighting paysites.  But technically, I think they would win since it is their product, and in some cases, their tools being used for sale.

It's funny how the paysite owners' over-the-top reactions are actually serving little purpose but to give us publicity...

More than true.  I found out about this site only because Retail Sims was having a hissy fit over it  Cheesy    If she hadn't made such a big screaming deal over it, I might not have known about this place for a long time.

We should all charge people money for complaining their stuff was "stolen" on the Exchange.  We'd all be rich LOL  Cheesy

EA has always made the statement that they own everything sims related - and yet hold no responsibility for it either.  That even goes for the original ingame stuff,  It's part of the EULA.

Now they will take care of the ingame stuff, because it's bad business not to.  I doubt though that they will concern themselves with any CC site.  They have always in the past neglected all of this, and if their record of of over 5 years of crao like this happening has proved this.

I think EA is only interested in doing what is cheapest for them.  If it costs them money in legal fees to go after anyone, they won't bother.  And I think that's really what it boils down to.  They've been very cheap with the game itself.  Stingy with giving any freebie official items, not bothering to pay anyone to hack them up, so they are usually decorative eye candy.  The quality of the packs is a big reflection of this.  They couldn't even be bothered to make a whole new Xmas pack, they had to only do a small addon.

I wish EA would have taken a stand at the very beginning.  It would have avoided alot.  I don't think any game files should be allowed to be sold as they have.  They aren't "donation" files, they are files that are being sold.  They just abuse the word donation.

I won't bring it up again, but hopefully someone will finally do the right thing about it.

Thanks so much. Scurvy would you please edit yours as well. I dont mind if you highlight sections of it and I dont mind if you share it in pm's. I just dont want them coming back and saying we are posting his name on a public forum.

I understand.  But I do think it's an issue that should be addressed in our community as a whole.  It is not okay, and it has been going on for way too long.  How do we know how many kids he has hurt or lured just because everyone is too afraid to speak up and tell the truth?

I am gonna ask you to edit your post and remove the link and his personal name from here. We do not want to sink to their level as providing personal info about other people. Please remove it.

Done.
