Your dad too, huh?  I started playing Sims 1 after my dad got a bootleg copy and was showing me his house of black people that he made fight each other.  A terrible racist my dad may be, but I was hooked on The Sims after that.  xD

This is the forum we come to to be mean.  We're mean people (at least some of the time), but at other forums we always have to pretend to be nice.  So at PSMBD, we let it all hang free.  And anyone who thinks we should never be mean can go suck an egg.

And it's not like the people being talked about can't come here, read it, and say anything.  The Pimp My Sims guy did and we didn't boo him out.

I just wonder if the rest of the Sims community realizes everyone else thinks we're nutters.  Just for the paysite thing, I mean, not mentioning the spending hours playing "Barbies," as my husband calls it.

Today I was walking with a friend of mine--a gamer, no less--and mentioning something about paysites.  He goes "Wait.  What?  There are sites that charge for game content?  That's just stupid!  Can they do that?"

And it amused me.

Just to put my two cents in hours late:  Even though I find your English a bit painful to understand, Solander, I'm still impressed that you can converse in more than one language.  I can't, so I, at least, have nothing to critisize you over.

Though you're wrong that creator's have the copyright to their creations.  They don't, EA does, and EA says to share them.

Well I guess at least his English is good enough that I wasn't sure if English was his first language or not.  Not that I have any problem with people learning and speaking in English, but it does make this whole thing annoying.  And painful for my poor little head, trying to make sense of the jibba jabba.

One of these days a site owner is going to actually make a statement about this issue in intelligible English.
