I just searched my email to find my notification of signing that petition (thank you for reminding me to do that novastar) - and my number on the list corresponds with the number on the petition. So I think that's pretty cut and dried.

I didn't sign using my full name though - I never share my full surname on sites like that - so that's something at least.

At least I don't use the same passwords wherever I go - I use so many different ones that I keep a (paper) list - and I've also made sure that my TSR password does not correspond to any others on that list.   Angry

Wow - I'm on their list....

I'm a major lurker - I don't even have the same name here as I do on MATY - and I hardly ever post there either.

I hardly go to TSR either - it's a total cesspool. :/

Just when you think they can't sink any lower. *shakes head*

I'm with those thinking you should pursue this WB. It's gone beyond an irritating inconvenience and well into illegal territory.

I'm hoping it's just an oversight on Coconut's part, seeing as the rest of the emails on there have been blanked out.

Either way, that info needs to be gone!

Ugh - those dresses are awful.

I'm going to have nightmares about massive blancmanges trying to eat me or something now.  Undecided

Me either. Just when you think he can't sink any lower...

One of the sheep messaged Russel Arons (whoever he is) on his Facebook over it.,item.43,item.61,item.104,item.41,item.127,item.23&threadID=ae92a030cdceb7ff75f1c5dbaa676284&directoryID=225&startRow=1#1b9020b23d013addd73fd04a9c61efb6

No, not creepy at all.

Ah, thanks for the cache and the screencap.  Grin

I'm thinking they probably jumped the gun in releasing it and it'll be back later. Someone  on the BBS posted the countdown thingy too:

I can't believe the amount of denial going on on the BBS - oh hang on, yes I can.  Roll Eyes

It comes out the day before my birthday - NOT that I was going to ask anyone to buy it for me. Getting SecuROM like that would be like someone giving you VD for Christmas.

Aww, the article has gone.

Did anyone get a screencap?

And that's not even getting into the whole 'USED GAMES MUST BE DESTROYED!' online only/limited activation bullshit, like you're supposed to get paid over and over for one sale...WTF?  I understand wanting people to buy new and buy more, but to attack and dismiss the inherent advantages of any used goods market is so incredibly foolish, especially when they could offer the same service themselves if they wanted - they don't so Gamestop, etc. fill that void to their huge profit.

Agreed totally on this. I would never have got into Sims 2 if I hadn't purchased a used copy of the base game as I had no intention of paying out megabucks for a game that I might not even like. After that I purchased new all of the expansion packs as they came out and the Festive Holiday Stuff pack. Monies they would not have had if it weren't for the used games market.

I used to drink a lot of diet coke, then I stopped, cold turkey, about 18 months ago. The headaches I had for about a week after were terrible, but I've never had or wanted any since. My hubby still drinks it though.

As for tea and coffee, my dad only drinks tea and my mum will only drink coffee. I like both. I do like my coffee strong though. My mum always complains that she could stand the spoon up in the coffee I make.  Cheesy

And tea is always better with a slug of whiskey in it.  Grin

Oh dear God, fucking hell NO. D:

I can't believe that EA could do this... oh hang on, yes I can. They are just that fucking stupid.

Most of those damn FA's would not exist without the efforts of the free community (SimPE et al). Makes you wonder what kind of tools EA will provide to these people for modding the Sims 3... and if they do provide their own tools, then it's bound to make it more likely that they will try to outlaw any kind of SimPE type tool for Sims 3.

I would have given up playing Sims 2 a LONG time ago if there were no damn mods or fixes. Way for EA to shit on the people that actually helped to make them more money.

God I hope Sims 3 crashes and burns.  Angry

That photoshopped Butthurt Baby in that photo reminds me of Boris Johnson for some reason.  Huh

So is the site asplodey now just because of Walt's incompetence?

That would just be the icing on the cake, wouldn't it.  Cheesy
