I just searched my email to find my notification of signing that petition (thank you for reminding me to do that novastar) - and my number on the list corresponds with the number on the petition. So I think that's pretty cut and dried.

I didn't sign using my full name though - I never share my full surname on sites like that - so that's something at least.

At least I don't use the same passwords wherever I go - I use so many different ones that I keep a (paper) list - and I've also made sure that my TSR password does not correspond to any others on that list.

Agreed totally on this. I would never have got into Sims 2 if I hadn't purchased a used copy of the base game as I had no intention of paying out megabucks for a game that I might not even like. After that I purchased new all of the expansion packs as they came out and the Festive Holiday Stuff pack. Monies they would not have had if it weren't for the used games market.

I used to drink a lot of diet coke, then I stopped, cold turkey, about 18 months ago. The headaches I had for about a week after were terrible, but I've never had or wanted any since. My hubby still drinks it though.

As for tea and coffee, my dad only drinks tea and my mum will only drink coffee. I like both. I do like my coffee strong though. My mum always complains that she could stand the spoon up in the coffee I make. 

And tea is always better with a slug of whiskey in it.

I can't believe that EA could do this... oh hang on, yes I can. They are just that fucking stupid.

Most of those damn FA's would not exist without the efforts of the free community (SimPE et al). Makes you wonder what kind of tools EA will provide to these people for modding the Sims 3... and if they do provide their own tools, then it's bound to make it more likely that they will try to outlaw any kind of SimPE type tool for Sims 3.

I would have given up playing Sims 2 a LONG time ago if there were no damn mods or fixes. Way for EA to shit on the people that actually helped to make them more money. 

God I hope Sims 3 crashes and burns.
