This is why I love being a pirate, the freedom to be able to frequent most forums without any fuss.
Aikea and hopefully Gelydh when/if you register, you must be feeling such a sense of relief. It's great to see you here. Have a party, let your hair down. It's exhilerating to be able to post and not worry about upsetting the management.
It seems it's either, visit TSR forums and the BBS. Or, sail around the world, and enjoy all the sites, sounds and smells.
Welcome aboard and enjoy the rum.

i've had an idea
i'm in the process of making a (probably monthly, gives me time to scour for new content) catalogue of sorts (the kind you might recieve from a furniture store/department store etc) of beautiful free/maxis content.
there is such a huge amount of free custom content available and so much of it is gorgeous, and people just don't get to see it or dismiss it as being rubbish (because it's free!).
i had this idea in the shower (lol) to make something that was visually great to show people that FREE content doesn't have to mean SHIT content. (because i know that a lot of people think this way)
it'd be designed beautifully, and displayed on a website and/or like a downloadable pdf. it would obviously have all the links to everything in the pictures, so the freesites get a looot of love from us all.
does this sound like a good idea or a shit one??? That aint a bad idea. Great for your first post. I think the best place to advertise this would be in general discussion on the bbs, (I wouldn't normally advocate using the bbs but in this case, it is where most of the paysite sheep hang out). Something like, 'Out now, edition one, free site catalogue, get the best content here'. |

Yeah, the Elau implosion was internal drama on their forum. This site was the cause of the drama. And subsequent shutting down of the site. |

I think liegenschonheit is more pissed about the fly by night types, who pull their stuff on a whim. They aren't likely to have updated stuff.
HP you are well established. I couldn't see a problem with linking back to you for meshes.
Maybe liegenschonheit could put a disclaimer on the site, stating that their may be updates and recolours to the original mesh, with a link back.

I can't figure out out to edit the pic (I use paint.net) so that it is smaller, sorry. Here is the front view of the sweater. I use paint.net. Use the square selection tool (top left, tool panel), drag a rectangle around the sim, cut or copy, open a new image, then paste into that new image, and save. Or, you could resize, go to Image menu (top of paint.net) and click resize. |

Just for something to do (yah, I was that bored). I downloaded some of her outfits. In the game, some of them are even uglier! I don't know how to take pictures from CAS or I would have shared the ugliness. It is pretty scary, though.
FP, some of the meshes came from Serasims, Simchic, Peggy and Chriko. Press PrintScreen on your keyboard, open editing sofware, MSpaint will do, paste, save, upload to image host, and post here. |
