They never did reply to my support issue asking them to clarify the forum rules, the bit where they state they will reveal our personal info.
I wrote that support issue on the 16 December, and up untill just before I got booted off, there had been no reply. So there goes the bit where they write back within 72 hours.

I don't have a clue as to why I am banned. But I didn't take great steps to disguise myself. It doesn't take a genious to realise I was t2suggas there, and match it up to this username.
It does say when you make an account, that if they know or suspect you of filesharing they will suspend your account without prior notice.
So I was warned.
ETA: I did send someone a link in a pm, to the TSR booty, because their one download day was nearly up.
It's also possible they didn't like some of the constructively critical comments I wrote about some of the downloads.

I use paint.net, it's free. I might buy photoshop someday, but haven't seen the need yet. Wahoo, another paint.net fan, I absolutely love that programme.

The Pirate Ship / ARR! / TSR IS A SUCK-ASS SUCKY WEBSITE

I have been doing some crude calculations based on figures from the TSR site.
Since November 4 2006, Sims2Sisters have had a hair mesh file downloaded 8260 times.
If that number indicates 8260 individual subscribers, and if they have paid for 2 months sub only, in 40 days TSR have raked in at least 73,927 dollars (I am in uk, I don't have dollar sign on my keyboard).

With the changes to the TSR forum, we now have to agree to the forum rules. The following I do not agree with, so I will never be part of that forum. Who gets to decide if a complaint is valid? And, what would constitute as complaint material? The Forum administrators also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you. Furthermore, you agree, through your use of this service, to permit the staff of the TSR Forums at The Sims Resource to inform our members if you have broken any of our membership rules or had your membership revoked from the site.
Excert from the new TSR forum rules. That site is giving me more heebie jeebies every day.

Ok, I looked. Here's the shit at the bottom when you submit something:
Disclaimers & Important Information Do not submit any files that are not your own creations. You should also be sure not to use other creator's bases for your own work without gaining their permission first, and properly crediting them. Any submitters sending work that is not rightfully their own may have all of their work removed from TSR and be banned from submitting in future.
By submitting files to us you are giving us (The Sims Resource) permission to host those files permanently and to be distributed via any media (electronic or physical). Files sent in a different format may not be used on the site due to the amount of work involved building previews and correcting errors. If you want your work featured here, please take the time to submit it properly.
I requested that TSR remove some of my uploads (8 measly pairs of eyes, for crying out loud). They virtually showed me the finger. The quicker that site is destroyed, the happier I will be.
