I've been collecting, and whoever had the job of cleaning up the profiles, hasn't been doing their job properly.

It's for teens to adult.  I couldn't really see any other ages wearing it.  It's a big style, wouldn't look right on children and toddlers.  Most of it's alpha editable though, so I suppose the pigtails could be made shorter.  Wouldn't match the pic though.

The bangs could really do with a little more alpha ediing, they look a little too thick.  I did spend most of the time on those though, it shows too.  I suppose someone will have a go at recolouring it, it's only got the one choice.

It's hard to stop hair sticking through the Sim bodies when it's long.  That's why I like short hairs mostly.  The Sims can wear most clothing then.

I was going to write a tute around making this, but there was too much involved for that.  So I just made it.  Someone requested Nouk to make it at her forum.  I asked her if she wouldn't mind me doing it, she said no probs.  Nouk would have made this a whole lot better, loads more experience than me.

I was considering advertising the hair I've just made.  But, you put me to shame.  That's absolutely amazing.

I have to agree with Gelydh, I find meshing a whole lot easier than texturing.  I'm crap at texturing, and hand drawing is non-existent here.  I borrow textures wherever possible from Maxis mostly. 

I've written a hair meshing tute.  I'ts really only to help get a successful working hair mesh into the game, it contains a very simple edit.  It is image heavy.

We don't have many hair tutes, I just wanted to add another one.

I have every respect for Dr Pixel, but after trying his hair meshing tute, I found I was searching around all over the place trying to find other info.  I've attempted to include all that info in one place.

If anyone with body meshing experience wants to try it and give me some feedback, please do.

Beth, the cushions need some shading, the texture is great, but looks a little flat.  I love the colour combinations.

I wouldn't say this is smutty, but it definitely belongs in the TSR hall of shame.


It looks like a very good hair for a second hair upload, untill it's looked at closely in SimPE.


Somebody's uploaded Peggy hair, and passed it off as their own.  Shame on them.

I made a new hair.  It's only done in blonde at the moment.  It doesn't have gaps either.


It's a converted hidden male hair.

Usually people see what they want on a paysite, then go to the booty.  That's the advice I normally give people anyway, when directing them to download from the booty.

AFAIK indiscriminate downloads aren't the norm.  I'm not saying it doesn't happen though.  I don't imagine people will blindly download things without knowing what they are downloading, or without having an idea of what they want beforehand.

I am speaking from personal experience here.  I expect someone will disagree with what I say.

I don't generally visit adult Sims2 sites, so I never touch adult downloads from the booty.  I don't touch much from the booty generally, but that's a different matter altogether.

Pirate Panda, if you care so much for the site, why not ask them to go free, and you donate enough money to keep the site running.  You are obviously quite passionate about keeping the content available.

I'm sure that if the site is as loved as you say, the fans wouldn't hesitate to donate if there was any chance the site might close.  Files do not have to be exchanged for money.

Take the Wicked Nouk Family of sites for instance.  They are well loved and respected, they needed donations to keep afloat and they got them within days.  They are all 100% free.  The same goes for SublimeSims site.

There is no excuse for selling Sims 2 files.
