The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Apology and some questions still

Lizard, so far I saw only one question from you in this thread, namely the one about blows, and it sounded highly rhetorical - and, as you might know, one does not answer rhetorical questions. The rest of your posts was "Wah wah waaaaahaah you mean evil people waaaah whiiiine how dare you mock waaaaah, why why whyyyyy!!!", and this part was answered properly with "LOL". All fair.
Flint - buy a period and a comma key for your keyboard, will you? Your blathering is impossible to read. (Some sense of humour would do you no harm either, but that's entirely optional)

All other computer games offer an escape from reality in big doses. The Sims gives you a choice of escape from reality or simulating it too closely for comfort. Some gray, in between mixture seems to be most popular. The addictivness was inevitable.
You know what? I think that, e.g. using the crapper without pulling your pants down first is quite a serious escape from reality. Almost as serious as nuking the Aztecs or going at someone with a BFG, albeit not as deadly as those if you tried it in real life.

The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Random Story Time

The "rest of the gaming community" is made up of mostly computer savy, Internet savy young people. The Sims phenom attracted mainstream sheeple. There goes the neighborhood. Like totally, word. Note how the geeky Sims stuff like hacks, what need a bit of computer savvy, are all free. That's because regular gamers have some decency. When I started playing Sims, the first thing that shocked me was precicely a discovery of paysites...although no, that be second, first was "Why in hell this game is so tragically dull and so addictive at the same time?" Anyway. "Baldur's Gate 2" has a couple of huuuuuge mods, and these are bloody worlds, new weapons, storylines, characters and whatnot. All, naturally, free. And there you have losers charging for a coupla rags and a wig.

Well I think is all very black and white .
I am listening to what you say , so what if someone sits on his butt whole day , lives with her/his parents and so on .
I guess in this life we can only judge ourselfs , and that don't mean you are holier then holier , it just means you are being honest .
That is what I mean also , we all take a lot of blows in life and sometimes life ain't all that cool .
At the end of the day we are lucky if we find someone who loves us , or pay atention .
What is use to give more blows ? Yuck. Betcha you copied this tripe from one of dem MS Powerpoint virii, you know - waterfall'n'meadows background, pink cavity-inducing text, that kind of stuff. Really, dude, it's v. simple - you don't like it, you get the hell outta here, don't let the door hit you on yer arse, bai. Nobody cares about your apologies.

It's possible that the liquid's coming from the dick that's sticking out in the bottom, next to the lady's leg, and she's just shielding herself with that shell.

Principle Schminciple If they had a free store right next to the pay store... Phhhbt, there was free stuff before PMBD, yanno, and for each paything you can find 3 freebies of the same quality and looking pretty much alike. If not better - I'm now idly browsing dem pay sites in case I want more booty, and duuuuuude, wtf - most of pay stuff is utter mediocrity that I don't want in my game. So principle counts, nyar!

The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Rose Sims

I decided to loot some of Rose's hair since they looked good in me vague memories, so went to check her page, and...dude, most of them are, like, lame! And that's on photoshopped pictures, imagine how should they look in game. Even her own free stuff looks better than most of her pay hair, and given her insane prices I'm amazed people are ready to pay for them when I don't even want'em for free?

Ooooh, may I join the club and have a wild celebration, too? I was thrilled, delighted and amaaaazed to find this place, because it's actually not about the free booty that much, but about that finally someone showed those assholes their rightful place. The map and the mission statement particularly are things of beauty.

The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Why do people pay for some of this stuff?
|
on: 2006 November 08, 08:23:24
|
Methinks they pay because most of sim-gamers are noobs into gaming and don't know such things are supposed to be free, and/or are too lazy to google for free sims stuff.
Those moneygrubbing lamers of paysites are a disgrace for all the gamers. I'm so delighted to find the place that's dedicated to piss them off!
