Smiley thank you so much Samantha.. and as usual, reuse them if you can get use out of them, that's what they're there for.

Snarky so are you saying, spend money on you and you're anybody's.. Wink On another note, that table rocks. Grin

I've done some more William Morris inspired patterns (customised from standard patterns in-game). I'm very happy to see anyone reuse these.. I'll be putting them on Sublime in a few days once I get a bit of actual time up my sleeve.

Smiley I'd love to BTG, I'll send you a pm.. Smiley

And Snarky, that lounge set, it is teh gorgeous.  Grin

If anyone can use it, I've got one of the standard TS3 game patterns done in William Morris red and golds up on the exchange.. http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=126411

It's done for an Arts and Crafts (Victoriana) type home for TS3 which I'm still working on. Smiley

Dr House thank you so much.. Smiley I spent a fair while on her.. I wanted to avoid that "bubblehead" we all hate so much. BTG, that house is gorgeous. Smiley I'm going to put it in my playing neighborhood for TS2.. Smiley I love stuff with a Victoriana feel. Do I need to join LJ to download? Smiley

Ok, I have two TS3 related questions for you guys, I'm getting ready to put together some content for Sublime.. Do you prefer Sims in the package installer format or straight out of the saved Sims folder? Secondly, I'm creating room sets and I want to know.. if I share them in the TS3 installer format, can anyone download that, or should I be grabbing the file from somewhere else?

Alastair, well that's what I'm doing.. I haven't gotten as far as building yet though. I spent too much time playing the game yesterday (and finally enjoying it a bit). Hey, have you guys seen this? It's a hack from Delphy that lets us have a bit more control over the sliders in-game. http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=344369&goto=newpost&postedt=1#post2598377

Grin MLC these are gorgeous! Downloaded.

My first Sims 3 Sim.. on the exchange. Christina Milano is neurotic, obsessive, compulsive, hates sunlight and wants to be an author. One day she may even develop a sense of humour.

Game pic.. unfortunately, the image is a bit darker than how it's showing on the screen..

25  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: New License agreement, what do you think? on: 2009 May 20, 10:23:40
They USED to have a seven day return policy on new stuff too, but Spore screwed with it as far as I could see. Although the EB geeks I talked to indicated they'd still take back games if it wasn't the online registration ones. (unfortunately very few of those these days)

edit: Checked their website, that IS the case. Here be the link. http://www.ebgames.com.au/help.cfm

saraswati, love your lots, too.  Made a note to check out the site in the future.  Just got a new computer and they installed the wrong OS so I'm not installing anything more than wow (so i have something play) until I get that sorted out.

Thank you so much Andais Smiley There's about 70 odd lots in there, the ones I've been doing pretty much since Sims started..

WOW would not be so bad, it's a bit like a "complete gaming meal" in itself..

dstar I would start fairly simple with my basic recolour tute on MTS2 and you'll find if you build your skills slowly, it's not that hard.. There's even a very basic walls and floors tute on the Sublime forum. http://sublimesimsforum.net/smf/index.php?board=26.0

And I would say, what about using the standard dirt terrain paint that comes standard with the game and maybe putting a winding path in somewhere?

And Paperbeth, that lot is gorgeous. Smiley

There's three new lots from me today on Sublime (first time in a while) plus one from MustLuvCats, who I have to apologise to for taking this long to publish it. (hers is bottom right)

you can find 'em at.. http://sublimesims.net/

I think they usually only put non-FA stuff on subscriber if you've used FA content in the lot.. Correct me if I'm wrong here?
29  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: NEW TSR LEGAL THREAT! on: 2009 April 09, 08:11:59
Is that the same EULA Pes posted awhile ago or is it a new one? I understood that it was just a teaser.

However I did find it interesting that they were addressing CC issues when word from the Creators camp was that it wasn't going to be possible. They were also addressing the importation of 3rd party copyrighted materials. Which I found even more interesting.

This is the most recent EULA posted about a week ago.. for the first time they did a combined disk/digital one.. Smiley

You're very welcome guys. Smiley It's highly useful running RYG/Prism because if I don't find it, one of my guys will. Someone needs to have a conversation with them about the work that Wes is intending to do (although it's been a while since I caught up on it, maybe Inge can enlighten us).. although I'm sure something similar was in the last EULA in relation to their ownership of the work.

But I was extremely interested to see that.. it actually puts into words how Sims files work practically. If your stuff gets shared or reused, shrug your damn shoulders and walk away. It's supposed to be shared.
