I have no community, but I have decided I have a huge crush on Draco and as I am reluctantly reading book 6 I get a huge grin on my face every time he is mentioned and, apparently, he's mentioned quite a lot. I especially love chapter 7 so far. Never mind ships, I want him for me

Hey, you HP fandomers, there was this Draco/Hermione thing that I simply had to get out of my system before I could concentrate on getting past chapter 2 in book 6. I think it's very interesting, but of course I would. Know the best place to get some feedback on how fucked up I am? *giggle*

If it's Thomass just jumping to conclusions and spewing off (which is a very very sweet theory) then I can't wait to see how all the sheeple will react when nothing happens to back up his word. I mean, by pointing out the new EULA he, himself, sends the message that they are in fact at odds with the old one.

It would be especially sweet if someone at EA decides they want to put him in his place and by making a public denial of what he claimed in the newsletter, but I won't hold my breath.

Uhm, I think you are talking about numbers within the TS2 community, which is all very well, but the original estimates were for the entire gaming community. See, there are other games than Sims out there

Generally, Solander and everyone else being confused about what we stand for, PMBD has a goal, but the reasoning varies a great deal from person to person. Legal, moral, "we just want booty"... There's all kinds here.

Pescado being Pescado shouldn't concern you so much. He's just covering his own ass so he won't get a reputation of trying to do the right thing. Even if he should get bored and look for new people to bug, free sites simply aren't worth the effort as everything is already out in the open and he wouldn't actually be likely to get the attention he'd want from his efforts. He'd likely just find a new cause to annoy people with instead.

40 pages is a lot of posts to be discussing the same topic. It's very unusual for a site to suck enough to allow that kind of attention (Carla Niven and TSR seem to manage, though)

Anyway, new Harry Potter movie sucks. If you haven't seen it yet, don't waste money going to the theater. If you MUST see it make someone you hate rent it when it's out or do something illegal.  :roll:  It makes the book look real good, it does.

*shakes head* if they're really going to put that one on everything then the community will be wrecked. Paysites (especially TSR) will find themselves a new position of power and, though I really really HATE it when people cry doom, I can think of a thousand ways they could harrass most free creators to either join their ranks or cease to share.

I don't get it. I clicked the link and saw some fugly tees. But no matter how long I look at them I can't seem to really see what they're about and why I should care.

I'm sure there's a reason, it's not a dig at you for finding it, Capn, one would just think that they'd make something that more pirates would get. How else is it supposed to sting us?

I still have about 130 pages to go of book no. 5... Been steadily losing interest in the book again. It's damn long-winded. Or rather, I suppose it's fine. I don't know. Just haven't felt like swallowing it whole. I'm gonna watch the movie in 8 hours, though, so I'd better get done.

I have actually never read any HP fanfics. Dunno if I mentioned that. I'm curious about it now, though. Just think I ought to finish all books so as to not read too bad spoilers. I don't know how adamant they are about marking the fics in this community (in BtVS you'd get lynched by a mob if you did not write in the header exactly where you were and how far in you were spoiling and whether it was an AU)

I think Draco fic of any kind could be interesting. He's an annoying little prat, but really, looks like he's striving desperately for daddy's approval. Also, him getting it on with Harry could be a laugh.  :lol:
