K maybe my post wasn't detailed enough, because its point was missed.
Any commercial net via a simsite, no matter how it is obtained, is what is illegal by EA's EULA. If a website has a donation button with no strings attached, or a payment button in direct/obvious exchange for an item -- if the website is making a commercial profit, they are achieving it with EA's product as the vehicle.
If Holy Simoly, or any site, has record that monies obtained via the website have only been put toward costs, and not for any other purposes, then they are not breaking the EULA. Your post was clear, it's just wrong. It doesn't matter if a donation item's revenue is provided to bandwidth and only bandwidth. The item is withheld from the populace unless money is paid. This means that the item is a pay item, and the paysite is actively charging for the pixels. Which makes it bad. Now, you can put a donation button on a website and that's cool. You can put so many donation linkies on a site you can barely see the content. No problem. You can even make more moneys from donations than you need to clear your costs. You just can't make something with EA's crap and wave it in front of people, then say "Nope, give me money first!"

But... what's the reason for its fugliness? To be honest I have never seen a pretty penis in my life! Perhaps that's why some people do it in the dark... One of my exes had this beautiful, clean one with almost no hair. Perfectly smooth even when happy. It was freaking awesome. He was a needy twit, though.

BionixWV: You're married. No one wants to hear about your ding dong. I'd like, for once, have a guy say, "Yeah, I have a small dick but I know how to work it!" Big pennor doesn't mean you have any sexual skill. Seriously. Big dicks scare me. Like, a lot. All my boyfriends had smaller-to-normal ones, and I was quite happy....with all but one. But that was the guy, not the dick.

I got a dairy queen from mod the sims 2 a few days ago. Hmm. That's free, though. Not so sure where the copyright issues would fall on that. I don't know enough about the laws.

Who was the one in control of Retail Sims?
And sheesh, what a rant. I love these sorts of things, especially since it's they who are doing the illegal thing, and we who have received official word from EA that redistributing paysite content in a free manner is fine.
I've never seen a PMBD/similar supporter get as self-righteous or generally pissy as a paysite owner who has been thwarted.

Oooh! Who? Inquiring uninformed minds want to know!
I'm not a big conspiracy theorist, and I think pointing a big ole' finger at one person/site without evidence is too much of a leap, but the likelihood of this not being done by a paysite or someone(s) associated with a paysite seems quite low. Things have most certainly been coming to a head this last month.

(Guys, don't friggin shave your chest OR genitals btw. We don't want to feel like we're looking at 13 year old overgrown boys *yuck* Manyly men ftw!)
I prefer certain parts shaved. Smooth sailing. Agreed! And freshly washed. Agreed double++1 Oh, and I have an ex-fling/crush/love/something who insists on waxing depressive about being hairy. I tend to just tell him that he's not nearly as hairy as my dad (not as bad as the pic either) and to get over himself. Now I have something to show him what truly beastly looks like.

The Pirate Ship / ARR! / TSR IS A SUCK-ASS SUCKY WEBSITE

Hmm, I'm sorry to burst this bubble Sherrie, but I've actually kept an eye on your creations there since this whole hostage situation started, and I noticed they were removed much sooner then you're stating, somewhere around mid-May
EDIT: Do you really think EA would even care about one person's creations on any other site then the Exchange? I mean come on, your creations were even free for everyone to download - what exactly would they have reacted upon? You're saying it's ok to host other artist's creations here, but not yours elsewhere Bullocks, I saw them there approximately two weeks ago. EDIT to your EDIT: You miss the point. TSR is a paysite. It is illegal according to the EULA. She doesn't want to be associated with illegal crap. How is this wrong? As for EA not caring about one person's stuff, you may be right. However, getting repeated complaints from creators regarding the practices of a paysite that EA (I could kiss GM Spada) has already deemed a violator makes them all the more likely to realize what an issue said site is and sue their collective asses. Which makes me giggle.

A little headline on the front page of PMBD with linkage would be cool. Just saying.
Oh, and if ya'll have Sims2 pages on the official site and are slightly active there, I'd suggest putting something in your blog. I've gotten some responses there. One from a Maxoid. Nothing quote-worthy, just saying thanks for posting the back-up.

Just posted a rant in my blog on my Sim Page at the official site. Considering that I have a fair bit of readership of my stories and am always getting questions about where I got my droves of custom content, it felt like a good thing to do. I linked to Nouk's site for the official response copies, but titled the post "Paysites Must Be Destroyed (yup, I said it!)"
