So, the following has been brought to my attention:
<img>
It seems Walt wants out, and yet he wants his exhorbitant payment back. I wonder what will happen when we present him with a third option: The one that leaves him holding the bag and wishing he'd never heard of Insim, having lost his shirt on this lousy deal.
Proving, once more, that he didn't read the fricking EULA before coughing up the cash. K&E really found a good target for their con.

I found a really amusing way to keep myself from going to Insim "just to look'.

I'm playing Sims 2.  Grin
I wish I could. But I can't. Dying computer is dying.
I'm at work. No simmies here. Plus, I'm not allowed to play until I get at least one update done for my LJ. I'm three behind. It's bad.

It would make more sense for TJ to just finish adding to the Blender what it needs.
He would be the most logical to carry on the work but he's also said there's some stuff he won't put in it, some stuff that I know I use the Insim for.  But the Blender comes very close to the insim, that's for sure.

He said he won't put in the stuff my teleporter already covers.  That is because unlike some people, TwoJeffs is not trying to set up a monopoly and is respecting other creators' areas of work.

Uh. So if one creator's stuff overlaps with another's, they aren't being "respectful" enough? That's absurd. I'd much rather have all the stuff in one mod. It's tj's choice, of course. But you might as well say that because one person made a Mission style chair, another person isn't allowed to do so because that wouldn't be respecting the first person's work! Or if one person makes a leveling mod for Oblivion, no one else is allowed to, because it's already been done.

Make what you want. Let people choose what to use. Seriously, your post is straining my wtf organ.
Yeah, I don't get this. Less hacks is better. I already have six hack objects I have to have on every lot (SimWardrobe season changer-thing, TJ's SimBlender, Pescado's Lot Debugger, TJ's ACR controller, TJ's Visitor Controller, and Inge's kitty). Plus, MQ's computer on residentials, and Pescado's BRY and Customer Selector on commercials. So someone does something that includes many of the functions you have. Shit, half of the hacks out there are like that. As long as it's not a complete rip-off, what's the issue?

You should realize you will have no integrity left in the eyes of fence sitters and paysitelovers, and you will be handing paysite supporters exactly what they've waited for: a real reason to show how pirates are no better. Not to mention you take away a choice for free creators who are still on there.
This. I'm patently against burning, or mass-deleting items off the site. If individual creators want to delete their threads, fine. Iin no way do I have the right to go out and zorch your stuff from the home you've given it just because I don't like what that guy over there is doing.

If things are lost whilst going the slow, but respectful, way, then so be it.

I'm sorry but the fact she calls herself a ho cake says it all for me....

Do you know what a ho cake is?
Do you? (clue: it's between your legs)

For the record, I skipped about 40 pages in this thread. I still know the basics. You have no excuse, and my shitty memory still retains archives of 12ness. It will not be forgotten.

I don't think he's Walt for some reason.
I don't know why but it's not him. He doesn't know about the BBS.

You people need to tell the difference.

Edit: It's not him, it's a sockpuppet pretending to be him. You guys phail at recognizing the joke!

Umm I was the only one that phailed because I really think this guy is dumb, and I thought he was dumb enough to come here. (Hey it's happened before!) Everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect and has a perfect sense of humor either.  Roll Eyes
True, but make sure you reread things before jumping to conclusions ok.
Make sure you know how to spell "anonymous" before you name yourself it.

Kids, seriously. I know reading that BBS thread sapped your intelligence (I swear I've lost a few brain cells) but quit impersonating them.

Even in the incredibly unlikely case that what 'Anette' is saying is true, it is absolutely despicable of her to spread these things to unrelated parties.

Keirra, check out the username. Obvious sock is obvious.

Oh ya, Seraphira/Syndica apparently you got some 'splainin to do. Now works.
Isn't this the same girl who kept bitching about people using poser meshes and starting threads right and left that were nearly unreadable? It's hard to tell without an avatar.

I'm actually contemplating getting a two-bedroom in a townhouse next. My lease is up March 1st and while I've chickened out on moving the past two years, I'm so sick of the nastiness in this place (goopy crap from the shower, leaky windows, cancer walls, mold in a closet, and recurring bug issues). It's cheap and a decent size and right on the lake, but I can't stand it. I was looking online and noticed that I could get a two-bedroom in a non-complex with air conditioning for cheaper than a one-bedroom in a complex without. Only issue is that in most cases I'd have to have my own washer and dryer. But I could get one for cheap, as well as an extra bed for guests.

My one cat likes watching tv periodically. I'd never leave it on for him. What a waste of electricity!

But playing music until 11 o'clock at night in an apartment building really isn't cool. This pregnant girl is learning that, now that she needs more sleep than she used to. Just because she did it though, that doesn't make it okay.
It isn't cool, and as the resident Quiet Police, I'd get really pissed off. However, passive-aggressive ceiling pounding is not the way you deal with this. You go up to someone directly and say that it's too loud. Ask them to turn it down. If they  give you trouble and it's a repeating problem, report it to the landlord. If it's something you can just barely hear, realize that you are living in a shared building and part of that involves dealing with people.

I usually let everything go by as I realize that I'm not exactly silent myself. Exceptions being the one time my neighbor's teen daughter had about 20 friends in the hallway singing and the time a month ago when a brand new resident didn't realize that practicing his guitar while synthed wasn't acceptable. We get a lot of people in my building who for some reason don't understand that while they are a 19-year-old college student who mommy & daddy bankrolled into an apartment, half of the building consists of elders, and the remainder is very late-twenty-early-thirty-working-professional. They are the slime we wash off our boots.

Why, thank you, Mr. Boddy!

Here's something I'd like to know: is it good enough for MTS2? I know I'd have to change out the doors and windows, and take out the tiny lights. Otherwise, content-wise it's alright. In fact, almost all the content I used is from creators at MTS2.
Lots are my favorite thing to do. I create (make?) sims, too but not as much. (My avatar is my self-sim.) Ever since I got the game, I build houses and almost always bulldoze them after awhile. So, I'd like to do something with them instead of just playing at building. I'm not afraid to admit that I don't think my houses are up to par with what I see offered already at MTS2.
So...opinions wanted! And anyone can answer this. You don't even have to dl it- pics are on previous page.
I'd say so. It's better than a lot I see. I especially like the way the stone pathway is laid out and blends due to the landscaping. I tend to get lazy and leave funky ends.

And yay for posters. Take the www out of the link in your sig, it gives you a 404.

That it is. None of my female friends are gamers, and only one of my male friends would loosely fit that category.
