I just wanted to say thank you, River, for being willing to come here and tell your side of the story. Too many times what people know is ONLY shared through second/third/fourth hand knowledge, so any time we get it from the source, it is a wonderful thing.

Atwa has a new mission - To clean up TSR, but not for the right reasons. She's taking the smut links from here and has taken it upon herself to take credit for finding them, trying to prove how much TSR needs her, in the bargain she is now spreading it about how little TSR needs kath, blaming kath for the whole TSR smut affair, saying that Kath should no longer approve submissions as she does not pay attention to the PG 13 ruling at all, Atwa is telling everyone she has suggested to Thomas he should let kath go and she will be willing to help him out with submissions. she said kath would be better suited handling submissions to an adult site.  She is also taking the chance to dig the knife into other FA's who she says are producing porn and are bad for the site.

She can try to take credit all she wants - the record is here, complete with timestamps.  Intersting though, about the FA portion of this....I can't wait to see how THAT turns out. (Popcorn anyone?)

Coconut, to be clear, which "Kath" are you speaking of? There are several Kathys and Kaths who are known in the community.

Cala, I went over to your place to get those new stained glass windows and I think your site hates me... My DL kills out constantly and then when it gets to 100% the damn thing won't close down. Yeah, I get persistent about the keep trying to get the things... Gah! Your site hates me...

I just tried, and downloaded quite fine.  If it still doesn't work, pm me your email, and I'll email them.  Grin I had that happen to a chick who wanted my morgue set, and had tried 2 days running to get it - she left a note in my guestbook and was hella surprised when I emailed them to her.  Cheesy

I couldn't get the square window recolors...invalid archive. Can you maybe repackage that one?

Works fine for me, both downloaded and on my PC.  I've just replaced it with a new one, so hopefully that will work (otherwise I'll email you)  Cheesy

.....you did pay your money dincha?  Cheesy

I left the cash on the dresser.  Tongue

Apologies, folks. I had a stray comma. Download now.

Dr. House - such a thing is actually in the works. Wink I just have to get the images to lay out correctly in the windows.

Meanwhile - here is the second version of the Lightkeeper - it looks better from the outside, but it doesn't provide as much floorspace inside. That may be a reasonable sacrifice, however. Download the original one here, and the revised one here. Please let me know which one you think works better.

Edited - second link now works.

I don't recall the story itself - but to start us off, "TC" stands for Texture Challenge. You'll notice at TSR that many people will do recolors in the same texture(s), Atwat among them. Now, can someone else pick up the story?

OOOF!  The thing about panthers - they forget they're not tiny house cats. Wink

Okay, I'll do the second version, and maybe I can pack them up so you guys can test them for me? Yeah...that's it...test....Wink

First off, what a cool house! I'm so bookmarking that site. (I love building from actual house plans, and it seems to have some great ones.)

I don't know how I had missed that site before - it's got some great plans there - different than a lot of what you find.

I'd say it all depends on how you want the house to look. I'd say the hight/width of the 'lighthouse' in the original plan is more in harmony with the rest of the house, but it doesn't really look like the real deal. Which is fine, but if you really want it to look like a functional lighthouse attached to a normal house, I'd say build it at least one storey taller and maybe a bit narrower.

How about I make another version and we can compare the two? I mean, the lighthouse LOOKS like one in the original plan, but as translated to game, it looks like, um...well, not quite as cool, I think.  Of course, as it is, it would make a fantastic home business or even a third residence.  So...all of this to say, let's see if we like the second version any better. Wink

Yes...YAY for the hair conversion!

Now to my thang: I'm working on a series of beach lots - this first one is called the Lightkeeper, and features a small apartment over the garage, a master suite, two bedrooms, and lots of play/study/office/home business space in the lighthouse itself. I'm thinking though about the lighthouse portion itself. In the original plan, it's not terribly tall and is quite wide, but I wonder: should I make it smaller and another story taller?

I'm still waiting for someone to figure out how to change the default plants on the growables so that everything doesn't look alike. <sigh> A girl can dream, can't she?

Did you know just exactly how awesome Nouk is? He helped me fix that sparkling issue. A new version will be up for download at the same link shortly.

Nouk's even more awesome when you realize she's a woman, not a guy in drag. Wink Not that there's anything wrong with that.
