46  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: More Smutty Than You: TSR's Hall of Shame on: 2009 July 30, 18:04:20
Well I'm in the middle, neither concentration camp survivors nor siliconed babes. A bit more would be perfect.

As I said, I generally do sims with a middle fat and a third muscle, so they're not skinny at all! Yet for the breast proportion size well it sucks. The first time I saw my adult female who was gonna take a shower, I felt pity for her and quickly went to grab the nude boobs enhancement at sexysims.
I too totally can't stand this pro-Ana trend, it's awful. Look at the models M.Calero used in his lingerie set, it's frightening. They look sick. And higly silicon guys and gals sims make me puke too. A normal body is all I'm asking for. Bigger boobs but not too much.... Vanilla Sims 2's breast for a middle fat body.

*blinks*  As an artist and a woman, I personally think the breast to body ratio for sims 3 sims is fine.  My own body looks like that.  It's interesting that it is expected now for a woman to have at least a US DD cup size to not be compared with a 12 year old boy.  Screw that, I'll stick with my C's, thanks.  I don't care if people think I'm flat chested or not.  I do agree that we should have a chest slider for more variation though as not all women are the same.

It bothers me a bit that you are exaggerating how the smallest sims look.  To me, the smallest sim looks nowhere even close to a concentration camp survivor or an anorexic.  They are just thin.  A whole side of my family are built like that and they eat as much as I do.

So what if you use Delphy's tool everything has to go into the mods folder then? Does that work with lot?

Here's how my Mods/Packages sub-foldering looks.  Of course I can't expand it all the way to show all the folders in one screenshot, but I have over 80 folders so far.

I am not sure if the Multi Installer works with lots or not.  You could use the 3viewer for lots instead.

Store hairs from the store thread in MATY are not packages. They're raw simspacks and at that time there's wasn't much tools to transform them. I grabbed them as soon as MATY posted them and installed them like all the matians did, following their instructions: that meant using the damn shitty launcher. Multi pack installer quickly came afterward eventhough it was first quircky. But anyway all the store items were already installed in my game using the launcher. So Jeez' don't waste your speech on me, there wasn't much choice at that time, that's it. Good for you, and bad for me since now I have to clean the mess. Don't worry, I know the damn thing is evil itself Angry

o.O  Is it just me or do you seem upset?  If so, calm down.  It'll all be okay.  Smiley

I ignored the Matyian instructions on how to install.  I already had the Multi Installer at the time.  I have no intentions of using the launcher ever and wouldn't have installed the sims3packs if it meant using the launcher.  I have chosen not to have Riverview because, at least as far as I know, you have to use the launcher to have it in your game.

Nope, store hairs aren't packages. At that time there wasn't much choice except using the launcher, removing anything with it is a total pain in the ass and you have to create a new hood to check the game without the missing store hair ('cause if one sim uses the removed hair you're screwed and crash to desktop. It's not like sims 2 were the sim would end up bald.) Plus hair creates 2 files in the launcher, one for teen-YA-A and one for elders, so you'ld have to remove both to be totally sure.
rum_nate do you have the 'beautiful split' installed? You know, that bob like hair with a middle split?

EDIT: I see that MissA is reading the thread. Missie, something tells me you don't have the store hairs installed. Is my guess right? (LOL I have 50% chance, gotta try Cheesy)

I have the store hairs installed.  They are in package form after you install them.  I use Delphy's Multi Installer for sims3packs.  (The launcher is bad, mmkay?)

It's almost as if he purposely created a parody of an obnoxiously bad paysite.

I agree.  I mean, come on, just look at the name.

The really sad thing about this "creator" is that he/she's never going to get a clue. Nobody posts anything negative, constructive or not, anywhere. Not even in the forum at MTS where creators can get feedback. Then again, I've read that he/she threw a fit when nobody complimented one of his/her creations.

It's hard to give constructive criticism when the work in question looks like you should start over completely.   Cheesy

Ok slightly off topic but concerning TSR so bear with me. Or not.

Did I miss a Monica is a thief thing? Who is this Monica? When did this happen? Is it old? How come I suck and have never heard of this? Should I stop skimming?

It was talked about in the Paysite Macros thread of all places here.  It was posted on the 15th, so it's internet old, but not really old news.

I don't think the majority of the FA's and SA's are idiots.  Think of how many have come out of the fog of tsr and came to our side.  Wink

I don't think most are idiots either. However at this point in the game if you're still drinking the kool-aid then it's kinda idiot by association, don't ya think?

Yes and no, but I doubt either of us care enough to have a discussion over what would probably break down to semantics and so I'll leave it at that.

And I don't know about Jim Jones.  I think he's more like Tom Jones to them.   Wink

Also, some companies CLAIM they're hiring, but they play games. Lots of games. Some are looking for a "particular fit", which is often business-speak for "We want a particular profile, and you're not it." For instance, the company might be looking for a man or woman, or someone under 30, but they can't actually SAY that because they'll get their panties sued off, so they use the "perfect fit" bullcrap. Some companies are scouting out prospects "just in case". They're bidding on a job, and they want to see the talent out there. But they don't get the job, or someone wants that "perfect fit" for that job, and there you are at Square One again. Some companies ARE hiring, but with your luck, the hiring committee happens to dislike overweight men with red hair because they remind them of someone, and surprise! You're an overweight man with red hair. Too bad for you.

Funnily enough, a friend of mine just quoted me an example of that from the Bungie website.  What he quoted to me from is this:  At least seven level 80 WoW characters, Prestige'd eight times in CoD4, 9000+ Twitter Followers, 10k+ Gamerscore, 100% Positive Feedback on eBay [and you're a Power Seller], and no more than five McFarlane toys on your desk.

I hope those still remaining will wake up and realize that Thomass doesn't give a shit about them, except for their ability to produce stuff for him to sell.  It doesn't matter how loyal to him you are.  Once you stop producing, he'll toss your ass out.  Raveena, for example, immediately comes to mind.

I wonder what will happen to those that agreed to retire without saying anything like Windkeeper.  Last I knew, her items were still pay.

Why do I have a feeling that the only option on this texture tool will be floodfill?
You know from experience, that's why.
Ooh burn. Seriously what the hell is up with your attitude problem, I'm not the only one who's getting sick of it.

*blink blink*  Huh?  I meant that you know from seeing their stuff that all they do is flood fill and it will continue in their cc for ts3.  I wrote out my thought poorly.  Sorry for the misunderstanding.

As for the "attitude problem", you must be thinking of someone else.

I think they're aiming to have the most Sims 3 content out there right from the beginning.  Quantity over quality.

I will be amused if it turns out the tool only has an option to export to the tsr website and not save.
60  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: TSR: In Ur Accounts, Deletin Ur Stuffs! on: 2009 April 10, 00:04:45

Uh, lol, wut?  Did you even read my post?  I've read this entire thread.  I know what's going on.

Since you seem to be completely confused, let me restate.  People repeatedly saying "Shakeshaft is a thief" in bold and in huge text to us of all people is an exercise in futility if I ever saw one.  If you insist on continuing, I suggest that, instead of text in your posts, you should make the statement as a graphic banner for your signature.  At least I could adblock it then and go on my merry way.  Win for both sides.

If you don't like them, skip past those posts.  Win for both sides.

I knew someone was going to post that and was going to edit my post to comment on that before someone did, but I refreshed and there your post was.  I'm loling that it happened to be you.  Unfortunately, scrolling past doesn't help and it makes you miss stuff.  So no, no win on this side.  Sad  And even if we had an ignore feature, it would force me to put people on ignore that I normally like to read.

So we all need to make banners in some graphics programme just to please you???

Feeling important tonight, are we?

Hell, I'll make it if you are willing to use it.  I was actually already thinking about making it for ya peeps anyway.

And I guess since you say that I am it must be true, eh?   Wink  You have screenshots that you somehow obtained illegally, but are also forged!  Wahahahaha.  (Oh tsr, continue to suck.  You make great material to reuse.)
