The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: TSR: IN UR COMPUTER, VIRUSIN' UR FILES!

My postcount may be low, and I may be no expert, but I feel that it comes down to this:
We will never descend to TSR's level.
We will never hack them. We will never defame them. We will never steal from them. We will never fill their Fotobukkits with porn. Most of all, we will never mislead or steal from the company that, with all its faults, has given us joy: EAxis.
Largely, our fervour is based on faith that, if we scream loud enough, no matter how many times we're silenced on the BBS or TSR forums, someone of note will flinch, pause and say, "Hey, wait," and the people who really don't care that TSR has stolen from them will start caring.
And then there's my personal theory that there's no doing such because TSR is bribing EA, but that's crazy talk. OR IS IT???

I just think, that if you feel you're not capable of doing something, or that doing it will require a sacrifice that you're not sure you'll be willing to make, then don't bloody do it, especially if someone can get hurt by it. Hey, I was just kissing ass. Great choice. Thinking of the children. Moving on. Thus I think, that it's not the movies, games or music that are "inappropriate" for kids, it's the way parents can't raise their kids and put what the media offers into perspective.
Every time I hear about some parent suing some media company because their kid was exposed to ~new ideas~ and asked the parents questions that they "weren't ready to answer", I want to cut someone. ALFIE'S DAD, people. REMEMBER AND TEACH. I was a zero when I learned about sex from a book aimed at 6s. I got comprehensive, shameless sex ed in school. Look, Ma! No STDs/nooboos/promiscuity!

Being quite honest, I just quoted an opinion on the matter that I know exists. My own I don't have, becuase I don't have kids, and I don't plan on having any - I'm not the child type, I'm too lazy, too egoistic, and a lot of other too's. I'm not parent material, simply by bringing a child into the world I'd be hurting it. I'm realistic, it's better not to exist than have a parent like me. On the other hand, the fact that you can take a step back and say that about yourself suggests that you are a "big" enough person to recognize your problems and fix 'em. I know a lot of moms who could learn from you. And as for body sliders - does EA really expect a 12 not to know what's under the clothes?

Mod The Sims IS first, though, for Sims 2. I'm in the process of checking out the number one result for Sims 3, which isn't TSR. It's called Sims3Port, and it appears to be free, but... kinda sketchy (i.e. Michael Jackson is classed as an automobile). Never did trust Google for finding CC sites, anyways.
To make this post more relevant, TSR IS CONSTRUCTED FROM PURE DOUCHE AND MUST BE DESTROYED.

Any advice on how to quiet difficult teenagers?
Send them on a lone camping trip in bear (or rattlesnake, depending on your locale) country. You can teach them how not to die if you're feeling generous.
