aww...how sweet.  They think I'm a pirate.  Tongue

I know the feeling.

I haven't been here or anywhere else 'piratey' in months. The last time I used TSR was before TS3 came out. And yet they have my email address and apparently name too. I guess it's just lucky that I didn't register with my real name.

The person who wrote that list must have wasted a lot of their time getting all that information.

Yes but since they were made by the same creator they are just futher proof that the person terrible at creating. If someone wants you to buy something the least they can do is make it presentable.

I know what you mean, I use a laptop and a computer depending on where I am. Between the different screens, using different versions of firefox and a vista/xp mismatch I can't even tell which coloured dot I am supposed to believe is fake.

Banned here.
The Maxiods are idiots, how is a ban until thursday going to make everything okay? I'd guess it's just crowd control

But the Maxoids aren't really EA employees, they're TSR employees.

Is there a difference?

The ICT teacher in my last year of school was a nightmare. It was his first year at the school which made it even more creepy for us back then. I went to a private school which mean uniforms including ties, shirts and skirts. This was generally okay but he would always insist on checking everyones uniform (even on non-uniform days). On the guys he would look at their ties, for the girls he stared the skirts. My best friend came in to school on shorts once and he stood there staring at her for about a minute before he let her get past him.
He was a really bad teacher besides that and it didn't make it any better that we didn't want to ask for help because he had a habit of leaning over your shoulder.

Also, American anti-intellectualism is 1) overemphasized as purely American (the Brits have a very strong strain of it too)

That sure is true. I remember even going into private education didn't help to escape it. There were a few more of us but I still distinctly remember being told by my maths teacher to stop asking for more work because the others hadn't finished yet. Also, even if I finished an exam I was told to keep checking through the work until the end and not watch the clock so that the other people didn't think that they were falling behind.

I just watched those and I think I'll probably never play my with my bigfoot sim again. That being said, they are both amazingly disturbing and creepy - especially the butler's lack of reaction.

Has it ever occurred to you to simply lie when people ask you for sensitive info like that?
We can't all be deceptive by nature. A lot of people find out that they can't trust TSR after they have already registered.

While treking though the jungle that is TSR for the few decent downloads it contains, I found this contraption, apparently made from dental floss:

and wondered when it had become appropriate for PG-13

Who can say no to a baby roaster?
The only reason it's not there is because everyone already knew it was the best.

arr! why must I always find links nice stuff to download when I'm on my sim-free laptop? oh well, I guess a few hundred extra downloads can't hurt...
13  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: More Smutty Than You: TSR's Hall of Shame on: 2009 February 22, 17:27:30
Do the people at TSR have super vision so that only they can see that in any sort of detail?
Ignoring the obvious creepiness, its a bad quality picture and bad quality clothing.
14  The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Re: TSR Sharing your infomation! on: 2009 February 21, 19:03:40
I'd guess that by actually linking he can then pay the "their stealing" and "look at the lies" cards again without anyone getting bored of it. Besides, if it did hapen when there weren't many people online it can be assumed that there wouldn't be many people to follow the links etc.
And if you would be able to hack their site: Why only change a single FAs profile? Why not deleting large parts of the pay content or the whole database?
So that you don't need to upload it all again?
